MALI JUST PLAYED TO SURVIVE. NOTHING SPECTACULAR IN THEIR PLAY! CHELLE'S MALI WOULD HAVE DESTROYED THAT ZAMBIA'S TEAM. |

Bossoflife25:nice point . But they have better midfielders. Going toe to toe with morroco will help their confidence. I believe they are title contenders |

mostob:Exactly. That reflex by the keeper! He'd never have thought his best save will be keeping his own teammate from scoring |

Na that adaptability part I dey like. He contained them and didn't do it weakly. In another match he would switch things up I expect. That's dynamism. TheSuperNerd: |

Bossoflife25:No wonder. When nearly a third of African teams dont play at home due to lack of FIFA approved stadium, they will have all the advantages. Whenever they meet a physical African team they fold. In the last Afcon they couldnt win Drc and SouthAfrica. |

Tbh super eagles player have been lazy, now I see why other teams walloped minnows in World Cup qualifiers. The intensity of the other top African teams have gone up, and if our players want to be lazy and not work hard at second balls, mark and run, then they should be going home. Omoh the intensity of top teams have been crazy, super eagles have the talent, they need to wake up and bring intensity, hardwork and grit, it pure hardwork Drc use to outplay us, and how I see why we suffer, our players must stop being cowards and chickens. Fight like warriors, they should copy osimhen, only him with Bassey seem to understand intensity, all this soft boy, clowning Iwobi , Chukwueze and innit boys are doing no be am. I need to talk true , talent dey, but hardwork is like 20%, when you have talent but you’re lazy, an untalented person with 100% hardwork with beat you to anything, that’s super eagles problem, laziness mentally and physically, na why we Dey struggle with Tanzania them, that laziness to second and loose balls dey annoy me pass |

If that header at gone in, it would had rubbished all the Malians played for. Imagine conceding an own goal with the last kick of the game. |

Mali's midfield depth is so crazy that they started 5 of them, brought in Kamory Doumbia (AM/CM) and still had Leipzig's Amadou Haidara and former Monaco lad, Mohamed Camara on the bench. Such depth. |

Mail for all Theo midfielders do not have good forwards sha, wasted many counters that they could have used to win. |

BENIN CHOP 4 NIL, GABON 4-1! TAZANIA SHOULD CHOP LIKE 3 IN THAT FIRST HALF. INFACT OSIMHEN GOAL SHOULD HAVE STOOD. SO WHAT INTENSITY ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT. Dannyxy: |

Dannyxy:Well observed. The forwards continuously killed the attacks. On those counters, they didn't even attempt to attack the box, and would end up clumsily losing the ball. Every single time! |

Dannyxy:Mali's midfield depth and quality is the reason they can go toe to toe with Africa's best teams. But their poor cutting edge upfront is the reason why they will always eventually fall short of Glory. The game vs CIV in the last Afcon which gave us the Chelle bottled water meme below is the perfect summary of my analysis. That game perfectly defines Mali's NT even today.

The extent of corruption in CAF is very high. Referees are scared of controlling matches. Referees can't take decisions on field of play. They're relying on VAR too much. Tonight's, ref was just running away from Mali's penalty claim. VAR was not needed at all. Shame shame shame |

Bossoflife25:funny guy have you seen the super eagles last 5-7 games at all . Lord forbids Osimhen is incapacitated how will the team get by ? Talking about the previous tournament that happened over a year ago. The team has declined since then. We rely on Osimhen aggression to power us through games right now . Anyways am riding with the boys . Well if they do good I commend them. Bad I criticize them |

Omo, we really need to beat these Tunisians. I still haven’t forgotten what happened in Tunis 2004 when they deliberately played Liberia’s national anthem instead of Nigeria’s before kickoff Those mofos tried to destabilize our team. North African teams too sabi dark evil arts. Enyimba players deserve the highest honors in African football for surviving encounters with Ismaily and Étoile du Sahel |

chuks404:Our biggest issue is decision making. Super Eagles can be quite physical actually and they know how to find a way into the opponents final third regularly, no matter how sturdy their defense is, hence why we always have plenty goal attempts no matter the squad. The issue the Super Eagles have right now is very shaky defense and poor decision making or not being clinical enough. We'll get plenty of chances in the Tunisia game. The question is, will we bury those chances? |
