The word ‘quit' in the narrative is arguable.
Don't quit a source of income to venture into another without a backup plan.
Had the poultry farm failed he could easily go back to his Tailoring job. Tailoring is a skill, so it's a good backup plan....I will keep telling Nigerians weda from a rich family or not have a skill ooo. It's a backup plan.
I once quitted a salary job because I was promised a better job by a company after passing the interview tests. Till today I no see job, but then I done quit the small one I dey manage, for two years hunger nearly killed me.

Tailoring is a business skill, the way you manage it is the way it will be.
I have a cousin who ventured into tailoring five years ago after NYSC, as am talking to you now he's a f*****g big boy with modern facilities and equipments in his firm. He now has a firm not just a tailoring shop, a big firm just from little by little.
So I feel it's all about management same with barbing.

I commend his courage. It only takes someone with patience and courage to decide to invest in poultry. By Gods grace, I have a poultry farm basically into egg production and also being into it for about 8yrs now and I’m glad I took that decision after I finished my service to invest in poultry, though it’s been challenging building experience and also in a very turbulent economy with the high cost of feed and other things. it only takes courage and determination to succeed in life….kudos to the young farmer

What works for Mr A may not work for mr B..

Training birds if even very risky.. u can ask those into it..

Not everyone has the connection to go from office support to quasi manager of hotel / HK.

I quit tailoring since 2022 and I now have peace of mind

Lol they might not be growing in terms of space, but some are really making good money from their little shop, so don't underestimate a skill

Nice narrative, he didn't actually quit the tailoring skill, he still does it as a side hustle too, but have more focus on the poultry... Reason I used th language quit
