| Re: 2026: Launch Your Software Development Career In 21 Weekends by naturalwaves: 12:38pm On Dec 27, 2025 |
moatacad:You're teaching tech yet not flexible. All your responses are senseless and rigid. So, someone that lives in Abuja should be travelling and coming to Lagos every weekend to learn what can be successfully learnt online? |
| Re: 2026: Launch Your Software Development Career In 21 Weekends by moatacad(op): 12:59pm On Dec 27, 2025 |
naturalwaves:No,MIT does not offer full, traditional degree programs (like Bachelor's or Master's) entirely online, requiring on-campus presence for degrees The above is the response to the question " if Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) offers its technology degree courses online". While some Universities do, does this mean MIT is senseless or rigid for not offering its tech degree programs online? Every institution has its own approach to achieving its goals. These approaches are shaped by their values, mission, and educational philosophy. It is important to respect how others choose to operate, even when their methods differ from yours. Respect for differing perspectives and practices is essential for maintaining a balanced and sane society. |
| Re: 2026: Launch Your Software Development Career In 21 Weekends by naturalwaves: 1:07pm On Dec 27, 2025 |
moatacad:Are you a degree awarding institution? It is a different ball game if you had provided reasons why you think onsite is the best for you and your coy rather than all the sharp NOs. |
| Re: 2026: Launch Your Software Development Career In 21 Weekends by moatacad(op): 1:44pm On Dec 27, 2025 |
naturalwaves:You seem to be missing the point. In the same space where MIT operates, some institutions offer online degree programs, while others do not. No one is claiming that on-site education is inherently better. In fact, we have also offered online programs. However, as an organization with strong core values, a clear mission, and a defined educational philosophy, our decisions are guided by these principles in everything we do. If you review our alumni list above, you will notice that their success is not accidental-there is a clear pattern. So, for this cohort, we would be happy to welcome those that can be available on weekends. We also offer both weekend and weekday programs to accommodate different needs. Our students come from within Lagos State, from other parts of Nigeria, and even from outside the country. It is important to respect how others choose to operate, even when their methods differ from yours, as long as they are achieving their goals. . Thank you. |

moatacad:Your comparison with MIT does not hold water because you're not a degree awarding institution. Having said that, how you chose to operate your programme is your business, even though it lacks flexibility. My sole concern was how you responded to the questions that were asked. Have a nice day. PS: I'm an IT professional. |
