Mujtahida:We make other teams play better. The fear of Nigeria is the beginning of wisdom. Simply for our pedigree alone, a lot of teams are frightened of us to the core, so they come at us with everything they've got. Our posh innit boys don't see it way though. They're all vibes and inshallah. Many of them can't mark, track back, hold possession, take risks and/or stick their necks out to make vital tackles or interceptions. They don't rate themselves as highly as others rate them. They're talented but not disciplined. |

Wait a min. Against Tunisia for 1st round, u ceded posession. But for final, u come dey drag am with Senegal and made even more passes than u recorded vs Tunisia. Lol.... u for no adapt, Senegal for bash u wetin no good. 😁 In all, I hope this translates to the real action over in Morocco coz I can see your 1st game result mirrors real life too. BankyGee: |

I love Super Eagles but there is no way we are winning this AFCON with that defense. Imagine playing this Senegalese/DRC/Morocco team with Osayi and Zaidu! |

We are simply not good enough, and it is largely due to our poor midfield. Look at DRC looking so ordinary against Senegal |

CornOak:Though not a Full-time win…but the last time they celebrated a victory was against Morocco in Afcon 2019 winning them on penalties in the round of 16 |

Frank Onyeka for me should be the first name on the list. Two goals in the last 3 games he played. Block your midfield with Onyeka and Wilf and let your attackers focus to scoring. Just like the first half of our game with DRC before fatigue set in, and extra time against Gabon! |

forget that yeye thing wey super eagles do against DRC….Senegal na their papa na….Senegal wired them home and away during the world cup qualifiers naa…especially that their home game Leading senegal 2-0 only for them to crumble with 2-3 loss🤣🤣 |

Defensively in this competition! Yes! Osayi, Ajayi, Bassey, Zaidu combo is one of the worst you can have in this competition. Federick and Aina/Agu would have solidfy us above most of the teams here. I am always objective with valid points not just ranting or wailing for wailing sake! minfelix: |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Goke7: 5:16pm On Dec 27, 2025 |
minfelix:DRC has always been a solid football nation if they expunge that non dual citizenship nonsense from their constitution they will start winning Afcon again and many other sports competitions in Africa. Talent wise they have depth both home and abroad |
