DRC has always been a solid football nation if they expunge that non dual citizenship nonsense from their constitution they will start winning Afcon again and many other sports competitions in Africa. Talent wise they have depth both home and abroad
based on current squad composition, im not sure this rule has hindered them at all.

Why sad? Nwaiwu is still young na. grin Besides Trabzonspor is a top club in Turkey and impressing there will still see him make a move to a top 5 league club.

His move away from Wolfsberger AC hopefully makes room for 18 y/o Emmanuel Chukwu to get more gametime in the CB role.

charlesemeka85:
Another promising talent to Hausa league 😔🤦‍♀️

🔵 The club Wolfsberger AC has lowered its asking price from 12 million € to 10 million € for Chibuike Nwaiwu, whom Fatih Tekke very much wants to be transferred.

📌 Trabzonspor management has largely reached an agreement with Chibuike Nwaiwu.

You guys can see that for congo to defeat us, that team is very very good. In this tournament, I don't see any team that can defeat them easily. Very coordinated, robust team.

Na the ojoro wey dem don start to Dey do now if you observe over the last few years they were gradually introducing the talents from the diaspora like bolassie and co meanwhile a decade ago their national team were mostly home based. Now they are becoming like Senegal and Mali that can easily bring talent from the diaspora to raise their game.

praying hard for the deal not to go through bro. He should be going to a league where he will continue with his development like the French ligue 1, German bundesliga or even Italian Serie A

To leave Turkey to better leagues is not always easy specially for African players

From my keen observation so far, it's quite clear that Daniel Amokachi is a better commentator/analyst than Sunday Oliseh.

Do you agree?

Osimhen is better than Nicholas Jackson. Watching the Afcon right now and no way u rank him above Osimhen using any striker metrics

same as Capeverde, i see them rising fast amongst the ranks…their foreign based players will also make a competitive team in the nearest future

The deal is as good as concluded. But we will see.

If Anthony Dennis leaves Goztepe for a higher league, then it offers more hope, afterall FDB left Turkey (Hatayspor) for Lazio.

This goes without question. In fact I don't think I've ever seen an argument made to the contrary.

This is false. Senegal did not beat them home and away during the WCQs.

minfelix:
forget that yeye thing wey super eagles do against DRC….Senegal na their papa na….Senegal wired them home and away during the world cup qualifiers naa…especially that their home game Leading senegal 2-0 only for them to crumble with 2-3 loss🤣🤣

Anthony Dennis have even done enough to leave but I think the issue is his valuation

FDB did very well with Hatayaspor and also wasn’t too expensive

I just pray it pans out well for Nwaiwu

I no really fancy that league for younger talents cus I see it as a place where their talents aren’t harnessed properly to reach full potentials

They are an Old Powerhouse. As Zaire, they were quite scary.

Some of the top stars of Belgian Football, past and present like Romelu Lukaku, Loic Openda, Emile Mpenza, Youri Tielemans are Congolese.

So DRC will always be a threat on the continent as long as they keep the bulk of the talents they have across Europe.
Wow. They've got an abundance in talents.

When you think of ex Man U players like Nani and Patrice evra who are of Cape Verde descent it tells you the depth of talent that exists from that country.
