Osimhen is really frustrating. Everything na quarrel and fight for him eye. Until he collect red card one day. Imagine scoring a goal and choosing that very moment to pick a fight for absolutely no reason in a crucial tournament. Wahala o.
He needs therapy

It's been a long while we have played this kind of decent football, a commendable first half performance

Osayi should help us deliver crosses into the box, what is all this hesitation all the time.
The number of times they've dribbled osayi in this game eh, and we also have onyemeachi on the other side though bassey is covering for him well

That ref is a clown. How are you giving a yellow for an argument?
Osimhen needs to realize that the world doesn't revolve around him. The offside calls against him were very much correct. The needless yellow card he got after scoring was quite unnecessary. I knew he was actually pointing to the linesman and mouthing rants at him. His sense of entitlement needs to be put in check. . Overall the team is playing real good. We just need to add a bit of intensity and intentionality especially through our right back who seems very scared to drive forward.

Eric Chelle. Nice call today switching to a midfield 3 and reintroducing the double pivot. It has given us balance and control in that middle game against Tunisia's 3 man midfield.

We have restricted Tunisia to 2 shots only and Zero shots on target.
Our Super Eagles mustered up 10 shots with 2 on target in that first half.

247 accurate passes for Nigeria vs Tunisia's 87 passes only.

Complete Dominance so far. We have to grab a second once we are out for the 2nd half and keep our plays on the front foot.

You know ball!!!

I disagree on Akor though. He’s created chances and his defensive work is very good. I do think he’s been a great addition.

he provided a sweet cross to Osimhen in the first 15 mins but Victor missed that and also had a shot saved that Osimhen scored but was offside. so he played better in the couple of minutes you missed.
if em see opportunity to cross ball why em no go cross am? No be professional player?

Bro that’s one of basics and if he can’t do it as a pro when the opportunity arises I wonder wetin him go fit do

I don’t know how this game, but this was an almost perfect first half from the super eagles, something we can build on..

Tunisia are not a small team, very defensive but we are still outplaying them and creating chances, like we all know, the defense is our issue, but happy to see the guys defending from the front.

A big shout out to Eric Chelle. Our possession play by the defence is top notch. They really disorganize the shap of the attack and midfield of the Tunisians and trade break the line passes.

Good coaching there.
I want to learn this shape thing... takes someone with good vision of football .

hv said it here countless times... eric chelle is a good coach... he jst needs better materials to work with especially our defence... imagine if we had d likes of fredrick and aina as well as agu available ... dat defense will b d issue of this team in dis tournament... d few times tunisians attacked we had our hands in our mouth

He's using an actual midfielder to play that hybrid third man role, so Iwobi isn't playing midfield by himself.

Plss everyone dont watch this game as a Nigerian….instead calm down and watch this game as a
1. Moroccan
2. Egyptian
3. Senegalese
4. Algerian
5. Cameroonian
6. Ivorian
7. Sapafrican
And tell me you are not scared of this Nigerian team’s total dominance from the blast of the whistle….im telling you this first display if maintained and improved more upon in the second half, omo others go start dey fear…this type of display is the type that will camp your opponent in their half till final whistle….plsss Eric Chelle and Super eagles should remain bossy in this game ooo
the unpredictable of the strikers and the midfielders is amazing
Is something me even can not pick who to mark on that Nigerian team. The formation is more than what we are seeing. I think the players are begining to understand how Eric wants them to play.

Akor is solid. there was just one chance he should have probably cut back but he kept running forward. Besides that, I am okay with his play. The selection is good. I think the midfield roles are also well spelled out.

Our pressing has also been good, and have on numerous occasions prevented a comfortable build up by the Tunisians.

Our rotation is also looking real tidy and we fill in gaps better.
noticed this too, Lookman's press to be specific. he is pressing like a man on mission. Nigeria would have cooked if we qualify for the world cup.

natural winger when not fit put cross. We have to manage him.. we have no choice in bench. If we bring in Awaziem you wont see forward runs.

As it stands, Nigeria may become the second team guaranteed qualification to the Round of 16 after Egypt. God abeg let's see this lead to the end or even add more. We've suffered enough.

We are balling. I no believe say na Super Eagles dey play like this.

I dey suspect say na deliberate tactics by Tunisia to dey inside dem shell, and dem no wan commot. Now wey dem don concede, dem go come out come play ball.

Na second half match go start but I'm glad we're leading by a goal, and I'm so happy Osimhen has opened his goal account.
