The number of times they've dribbled osayi in this game eh, and we also have onyemeachi on the other side though bassey is covering for him well
May God deliver us from discovering bad players because sometimes these bad players take up space and prevent you from seeing good players. That's why I am eagerly praying for their playing days for SE to be over. I wish them all the best in their clubs.

Correctly observed my top man.

The pressing from the front has been impressive and well sustained throughout the half. And yes, even when they switched roles and moved from zones to zones in transitions, they kept their shape better than the last game.

TheGoodJoe:
Our pressing has also been good, and have on numerous occasions prevented a comfortable build up by the Tunisians.

Our rotation is also looking real tidy and we fill in gaps better.

Alebiosu can't possibly be worse than Osayi-Samuel. Maybe he can debut in this match.

bro I don’t know for una but the guy no dey impress me and he is no where close to Ideye’s class

Ideye wasn’t prolific but can dribble and create chances unlike Akor

The difference Akor has over others (Boniface, Tolu, etc) is just that he is a team player who tracks back to help the team

He is yet to impress me. Had it been say Boniface dey serious he would hv been the perfect foil for Osimhen

Another perfect player for that role is palace Chrisantus
Omo you sabi. Boniface for dey crazy for this kind setting.

if em see opportunity to cross ball why em no go cross am? No be professional player?

Bro that’s one of basics and if he can’t do it as a pro when the opportunity arises I wonder wetin him go fit do
If him do wetin him suppose do, isn't that all that is expected?

Basically our complaints come from players not doing what they are expected to do.

We are balling. I no believe say na Super Eagles dey play like this.

I dey suspect say na deliberate tactics by Tunisia to dey inside dem shell, and dem no wan commot. Now wey dem don concede, dem go come out come play ball.

Na second half match go start but I'm glad we're leading by a goal, and I'm so happy Osimhen has opened his goal account.
Iwobi is pulling a brilliant shift with his running but he needs to increase his long passing level. If he can keep falling deep to the deep lying playmaker role and get his long passes right, we will rip these Tunisians to shreds. A lot lies on Iwobi.

Iwobi should scan for spaces and stop trying to thread tight passes. In the words of Tuchel, there is always space. Iwobi needs to spend more time finding spaces.

A big shout out to Eric Chelle. Our possession play by the defence is top notch. They really disorganize the shape of the attack and midfield of the Tunisians and trade break the line passes.

Good coaching there.
Honestly, i am impressed.

Taking mental notes.

We can see the Onyeka effect! Mopping up that midfield along with Wilf!

Lookman playing the Mane role!

I just hope we don’t lose guard in the second half as we played fantastic football too in the first half of the game against Tanzania leading by a goal.

Hope the players don’t make silly errors as the game progresses.

Honestly, I feel Iwobi is dropping too deep. We need that guy to play closer to the box. That's where he'll be more impactful.

I agree. There is a big improvement in maintaining our shape. One that caught my eyes was when Calvin Bassey was off position and how we maintained a tidy shape.

If we can nail midfield long range distribution, we will be fire.

In all, I am impressed.

Osimhen needs to realize that the world doesn't revolve around him. The offside calls against him were very much correct. The needless yellow card he got after scoring was quite unnecessary. I knew he was actually pointing to the linesman and mouthing rants at him. His sense of entitlement needs to be put in check. . Overall the team is playing real good. We just need to add a bit of intensity and intentionality especially through our right back who seems very scared to drive forward.
Ranting from how many miles away? That ref just wants to tell his grand kids that he gave osimhen a card.

Ndidi is not much of a distributor. So transition from defense to midfield will suffer without Iwobi. What is making it look poor is Iwobi not distributing properly and I expect Chelle to sort him out on that.

stop making stuff up, if he was insulting the assistant ref he won’t have gotten yellow, he’d have been sent off
