Na pure handball. Osayi was even pushing the Tunisia guy which could have even resulted in a separate penalty too without the handball grin
. This guy here is not a Nigerian and he has shallow knowledge of the game of football

Why exactly did Chelle sub Onyeka in this match
Same thing he did against Tanzania
Zero reading of the game
Just in a hurry to bring on Simon

The man is extremely clueless. He is lucky to have coach the super eagles. Haha 😆 remove midfielders and put wingers ?
Haba
I am pained. This match was almost a perfect match until Chelle allow the devil to use him. What the hell was that!

Nwabali is the nain reason why we have to dump the perception that people gummed to Maduka going forward. Maduka, all things being equal, should be heading to WC if we get that ticket. Uzoho has no business being there even if he performs in this Afcon too

That he performing very poorly now does not mean he has not been better than Okoye on national duties.

Coach need to sit him down and have serious talk with him
which opportunity did you give Okoye? How can you compare the two at this point? Give Okoye equal opportunity then judge. Okoye is still been rated because of his performance against Tunisia. Since how many years ago? Do you know the number of errors Nwabali has commited?

I watched Eric Chelle's Mali play beautiful football at the last Afcon and wondered whether he could replicate it with the Nigerian side and now he's doing it showing that he's a top class coach but unfortunately his weakness of grinding out results has followed him to our dear SE, hopefully he sorts that out too

Small small dey curse the Coach na.

Everyone is to blame.

At least we play better football under Chelle.

I remember there was a time we couldn't string together five passes
baba Chelle is the major culprit

I am mad and boiling here and I swear if say I be super eagles snr player me and am go get serious issue for dressing room

I don’t mind leaving camp afterwards

Imagine how him wan use carelessness throw away better win with good goal margin

Goke7:
If this ended 3-1, I can forgive the team and the coach, but 3-2 from 3-0 is not the mark of a great side.

This is the World Cup qualifiers script being thrown at us again.
Meaning Chelle can easily draw a 4:0 game from a winning position

This man has decimated our confidence in his ability
He should be sacked after the AFCON

Anyway let's still understand that we won a Tunisian team that was acclaimed the best passers
Kudos to the team. Eric Chelle should understand that onyeka is very important in this super eagles squad. Full stop.

Maybe we can see alebiosu in the next game if chelle head correct

What push? That was a 50-50 duel. I maintain that wasn't a penalty.

I swear! If he knew he wasn't going to have any need for Akinsanmiro or Nnadi, then what the hell did he invite them for? Kuku carry 11 players only na! Rubbish!!

Simon is good no doubt but this game didn’t need a Simon no at all. Both Akor and Lookman could cross and even track back!

Chelle go just kill this team finish

the same mistake cost him against CIV if not Nigeria would hv faced Mali in the finals

His Malian team outplayed CIV till the tail end of that match

I watched that game and felt pity for the Malians that day. Chelle’s tactical carelessness cost Mali that game

Just go to YouTube and watch civ vs Mali afcon semi finals bro after watching you go spit on Chelle’s face

Very stupid coach and a stupid change …aw could u bring in 2 wide men and remove a wide man and a midfielder..and d pressure piled up …what else was he looking for…more goals after 3-1 …mumu

He could av brought in a midfielder to replace frank and seal d game off at 3-1
Simple!!

Supporters in the stand too, you had drums that produce louder decibels but you fell quiet after just one goal.

Senegal play telepathic football. They anticipate moves of teammates before the ball moves. But see how terrible their defense was today vs Congo. That Mane Equalizer, na only Lookman i can beat my chest and say he won't miss in such a tight space among SE players. If we meet Senegal, we'll trash that their backline but with how we drop tempo in 2nd half, thanks to terrible moves by Chelle, Senegal go score us wella.

But tbh the handball was legit. Why don’t you think so? The pushing was just me on a lighter note. Forget that one. I was joking. Just pointing out the fact that you can’t have your hands out like that almost pushing someone and then someone thinks the hand is in a natural position.

Congratulations 🎉 to super eagles . It is now clear we don't have a coach . The coach appears clueless with substitution. How far the team will go will surely depend on the individual performance. Even if we reach final the coach is extremely clueless

No team has scored more goals than Nigeria at AFCON 2025 so far.

First Nation to qualify for AFCON round of 16, 2025.

Soaring 🦅
Let's focus on the positives please
Chelle go improve no worry

This people talking about Chelle this and that, I don't know what you would have done if that bouncing header Nwabali was looking at entered the post?
Perhaps you would have blamed Chelle for the goal too?

my friend if you prefer nwabali to okoye at this point then you know absolutely nothing about football. Okoye has improved drastically. Nwabali is a working calamity. And the funny aspect of it is that he thinks that he knows. How can you explain that nonsense he did against a Tunisia player even after the referee has blown ?
