Nwabali is the nain reason why we have to dump the perception that people gummed to Maduka going forward. Maduka, all things being equal, should be heading to WC if we get that ticket. Uzoho has no business being there even if he performs in this Afcon too
. Which ticket are you talking about oga Dave?

I thought fifa has concluded their investigation?

Those blaming Nwabali should consider how slippery the pitch was after rain o. Make Una take am easy.

The coach is the real culprit in this game

Must it always be Osayi and penalty calls? The same thing happened against Gabon, the referee waved it off even after a VAR review.
I shouted earlier when he went for hard tackle inside the box.

my friend if you prefer nwabali to okoye at this point then you know absolutely nothing about football. Okoye has improved drastically. Nwabali is a working calamity. And the funny aspect of it is that he thinks that he knows. How can you explain that nonsense he did against a Tunisia player even after the referee has blown ?
Calm down and read my post well. Read the person I quoted first. Nothing in my post suggest I’m supporting calamity Nwabali

You are uncouth. Please kindly F off. Last time you were issuing stupid threats over discussions.
No vex bro, the thing just piss me off, also that wasn’t a threat, I was only joking that I’ll drag you if the decision comes out positive.
But common bro, go and rewatch that scene again. It was never a penalty

Bro, when I saw that AFCON list, na the goalkeepers list demoralize me pass. I was so irritated.

In the history of Nigeria, we have never been plagued by this many terrible goalies. What I would give to have Ezenwa or even Akpeyi as an option again…chai! This thing worse pass trenches. If we face a proper team, all those dem Senegal, Morocco, even South Africa, e go too bloody.

How did Okoye not make the list? Is Chelle scared that he will be outshined in beauty by another laiskin boy? I would have preferred to have an Okoye on the bench, than the options we currently have. I’m so irritated, and tonight was going so well.
From WCQ disappointment to seeing the 3 final goalies. I lost interest in this tournament instantly. When this is not some circus auditions, they brought back Uzoho!! Like Uzoho!! This is the peak of football nepotism. We are having an Nwabali that acts like he's doing us a favor as GK cos he also feels competition no dey and na two clowns they add as backup. 🤢😑😑😑

I would gladly take back an Ezenwa that is great at organizing his players during setpieces than whatever version of Nwabali im seeing right now.

Scary Thought

We might ball in this tournament but na GK go be the weapon fashioned against such balling!!!

but you know dey started having small hope after that setpiece goal…that was before Onyeka was subbed oo….i knew if they score a goal, they will bring out their own attacking instincts…its just great to see super eagles dominate and beat a top African team 3-0 till 70mins….although chelle really messed up removing Onyeka….
Onyeka and Ndid should be starting and ending matches.
Anyways todays game put 9ja in the light of being one of the favorites…..its not easy dominating a top 6 african team like that….i see us getting to the Semifinals for now shaa
It's exactly because they tasted blood that subbing Onyeka seems like a move from the covens of an evil forest.

Its so painful to see good work fumbled by last minute indiscretions.

If this was the knockouts I'd have had to leave the screen lest I injure myself

His personal family issues and lack of competition. He's kept about 90% of our matches since he stood between the sticks.
understandable, that why he is a professional. I am not attacking him Mikel played wella in Olympics even when there was news that his father was kidnapped. So this excuse no sell. Nwabali should go and rest . I thought they said he was not fit afcon? What changed? No body should give this excuse ooo

thank you . Nwabali is very stupid. Even the first goal, his reaction was very lackadaisical. Okoye will stop that ball. Why was he forming injury? Very nonsense player
idk about forming sha. The way he went down looked comical and strange and replays confirmed it. I was expecting him to save the ball and was surprised it went in. I even thought he would have been substituted after the goal.

I'm almost tempted to say Chelle wanted to sabotage his own efforts, cus what was that subhuh

We needed to keep control of the game and he took off Onyeka?
He could have at least brought on Onyedika.... What's this obsession of playing 4 attackers at once?
Honestly, be goofed..

As for Nwabali, there was a report before the start of the tournament that he wasn't fit....it seems to be true....even aside the fitness issue, he has been out of sort the past few months.... unfortunately, his replacement don't inspire any confidence....

This GK palava started from Sunday Oliseh. The early retirement of Vincent Enyeama led to all this rubbish.

From Ezenwa and Ikeme and Agbim down to Uzoho and Maduka, Nwabali. We can barely go into a game without fear of the GK doing something funny to our hearts.

Still, why is it hard to produce better GK sef? Onana 2.0 dey do IT and now it was a wasted spot. Amas is obviously here to watch.

Arghhhhh
Nigeria has not recovered from that

He should have understood by now that even though attack wins games, defence wins titles, can he try this rubbish against say Morocco or Senegal and expect to scale through
Is it that he doesn't learn from his mistakes? Is he that he loves attacking football more than he loves victory?

Hasn't he learnt from what happened to him with Mali or our match with Zimbabwe?

How is he making the same mistakes over and over again?

To think Ejuke and Simon didn't do anything of significance when they came in eh. Nnadi, Ebenezer and Onyedika are on the bench if at all you need to sub out Frank. Like what kind of ridiculous decision was that?
At least we saw the nonsense Ejuke played but Moses Simon had no business in this team. He should stop bringing him in.

His hand was not in an unnatural position for someone jumping na. If the scenario was that Osayi was trying to head into the Tunisian net, would you consider the hand as being in an unnatural position?
The way you guys sha judge this natural position thing. Na I’m be say handball no go Dey again na.

I will rewatch though sha but I think his hands were raised the way defenders do during cross to prevent attackers from heading the ball.

Even if na bullet header, you don’t need to have your hands at almost 90 deg.

In fact I have lost confidence totally, it looks like when you think the team has begun to click then Chelle goes into a coven to cast a spell.

Before the game started I was so nervous even my wife was begging me to calm down. When we were 2-0 nil up I said it here we just need to keep possession and wound up the game. I had concluded that the eagles have wrapped this up. I was even shouting that osihmen must not be substituted cos I know Chelle I didn’t even know he had other demonic antics. Noooooo this is a disaster. This man will finish us up soon. Dem send am to destroy us.

Even osihmens goal , the Tunisia keeper had his hands on it ? What on earth was nwabali thinking , not that even the header was with force , Omo mean , it's painful.

Tunisia never had the intention of being defensive. Who told you that ? Nigeria pressed them and few times they lost the ball in dangerous areas they resorted to zonal marking. What are you even saying ? Did you even watch the match? Tunisia tried their pressing game but we were more dangerous
they were playing a defensive game throughout the first half.

The only explanation Chelle can give for his poor performance in the 2nd half is to claim that Tunisia used voodoo on him.

The game would have ended 3-1 if our midfield didn’t collapse due to Chelle carelessness.

The pitch was slippery after a rainfall and Nwabali slipped. That can happen to any keeper. The players were all ok today but the coach
oh there was rain? Suspected as much because the way he went down for that ball was not normal even for an erratic nwabali.

Chelle is perfect made for our football, he can be our westerhoff BUT he needs to register for game management class fast if he will succeed as a manager and coach, cause that second half was nearly catastrophic.
