The Ref clearly had no business giving that penalty. But then, when playing the North Africans especially in North Africa, it is best to cut off lifelines that give them hope.

If we had not taken off Onyeka, I doubt we would have let the game end this way. And even if Onyeka was to be taken off, then bring in another midfielder that can defend as well.
Chelle should kindly learn fast from this game. For 79mins, we delivered a true masterclass performance but his tactical decisions after min 79 nearly spoilt the good work.

The 4312 dynamic shape was a masterclass. Completely dominated and stiffled the Tunisians.

Hannibal wey onyeka caged. Removing onyeka was a deep mistake. I still repeat, those assistant coaches from Nigeria should leave super eagles , they know nothing. Eric Chelle must have gotten that advise from one of those coaches that can even win in NPFL. Because how on earth should you make that kind of substitution

It's true sha. This Tunisian side didn't concede a single goal in their world cup qualifiers, zero goals conceded in 10 matches so for us to score three goals is a big feat, our attack is one of, if not even the best in this afcon, if Chelle can sort out the defence and start making like for like subs we can go all the way
