It's true sha. This Tunisian side didn't concede a single goal in their world cup qualifiers, zero goals conceded in 10 matches so for us to score three goals is a big feat, our attack is one of, if not even the best in this afcon, if Chelle can sort out the defence and start making like for like subs we can go all the way
Im telling you, i hope we dont drop this momentum….omo we played them handsdown….i feel for them conceding those 2 unnecessary goals

Yeah. Let's not also forget those that click immediately they debut and stay on till. Overall, recruiting na all time low. For now we face AFCON sha. I heard some legends talked to Bassey that year. Talk made the difference.
In recent times, I think maybe only Benjamin and to an extent Akor have had seamless bedding in period into this team
Both have become integral members of our team

Bàbá take am easy ooo with Chelle. Carthage Eagles no be small teamooo. Like someone pointed out we don't expect Tunisia not to fight back, I think anxiety got d better of Chelle.
We are a top side sir. We can’t be leading 3-0 and almost throw it away, even DRC, Egypt, Senegal or even Burkina Faso can’t be this poor haba.

What if Lookman goal didn’t enter, game would have ended 2-2 after 2 nil up no I can’t accept this trash. And I assure you it will happen again. It has become a pattern.

FIFA and IFAB really need to train referees to improve their interpretation of the handball rule and taking penalty decisions.

There's no consistency in interpretation, and it feels like referees are making decisions based on discretion.

That penalty call against Nigeria was not a penalty.

I have read a lot of criticisms on Chelle regarding his game management and this is my perspective.

The Tunisians were mounting a lot of pressure on the flanks, and Chelle needed to foil the pressure.
Ndidi was even out of his position to defend the flanks.
That was the motive behind the substitutions Chelle made.

Again, in competitions there is what we call the game momentum. The momentum of the game shifted for obvious reasons and the Tunians siezed it to see what they can grab.

Against a faster counter attacking Tunisia that would have been suicidal. Dude helped in keeping possession for us
Yes, he was decent in the game and I think his mistakes came from being overloaded.

Despite our defense frivolities we have only conceded one goal from open play!
We are doing quite well than I thought.

Yeah that's better
This conceded goals table is a negative stat
We need to become more stingy in our defence
Chelle has to fix that
