Arizoner:All i can say is Lookman is a tournament player…im still pained we will miss the world cup…Lookman might not be the “all dribbling and tricky winger in the shape of chukwueze “ but you see that Lookman, he plays the kind of wing attack you will find in teams like Madrid,Barca,Bayern…very strict and direct wing attack/forward🔥🔥 |

Arizoner:thats football for you, you might see us playing another top 5 african team(Morocco,Senegal,Egypt,Algeria) in the knockout stage..they may be leading us 2-0 and u will see us turning the table around beating them 3-2…thats how teams that are trophy candidates play…you dont expect them to play all their 6-7 matches with 3-0,4-0,2-0,2-1,4-1…this is not 2004 tournaments…teams has woken up |

minfelix:AFCON group stage winner is determined on head to head first, goal difference second. We have beaten Tunisia...even if we lose 7-0 to Uganda we will still top the group. |

minfelix:No. The tie breaker is head to head which we already have over Tunisia. Even if Tunisia score 1000 and we lose 2000, we will top the group. Na Collin Udoh talk am. |

jihday:Agreed. I think Osimhen needs to be protected against injury otherwise he also needs to statpad. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Mujtahida: 8:43am On Dec 28, 2025 |
Osimhen, one of the world's apex striker was through on goal yet he decided to be unselfish and square the ball to Lookman. When it got to the turn of Ejuke who is an Ekuke player what did he do? He decided to be a selfish glory hunter. |

Chelle should rest Osimhen,Ndidi and bench Nwabali and Osayi. We need see Akin,Nnadi,Alebiosu and Dessers in action |

So nobody here saw the similarities between lookmans goal and okochas goal against oliver Kahn in the 90s. I'm highly disappointed. We have a lot of Gen Zs here |

Meliforme:Oga your boy nearly cost us,he won a duel but his overall performance was poor though better than Simon Moses, the duo don't deserve to come in,they did nothing, hope you saw where your boy was dispossess trying to do Okocha, that almost led to a goal.... |
Abi no be Bright Osayi name full everywhere for the stats and people are condemning poor guy, against Tunisia I rated him than Bruno stated. Egbon did u watch d game? I don't think Bright was that bad too. The penalty was unfortunate, also he had a goal bound shot that one guy used his head to block, play had to be stopped sef for the guy as u use head collect bullet. However, he needs to be Abe to cross the balls into the box, after all he started as a winger I think. |

Mujtahida:I don't think it was like that o. Osimhen wasn't necessarily open as Ejuke was ahead of Victor and there's a strong chance a pass could have been cut off. Also that chance was similar to the one he scored against Gabon. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Mujtahida: 8:47am On Dec 28, 2025 |
Arizoner:Na wa. Which similarity. None! Okocha that dribbled from one end to the other thrice is what you want to compare to Lookman who basically did his business in one spot. I'm not trying to downplay Lookman's goal but they aren't similar. Rather the build up from the right side with the flicks is similar to our last goal against Cameroun in the 2018 WCQ series. |

One thing I know he is the deputy for Aina,Ryan Alebiosu hasn't showing enough in training like Benjamin Frederick did and earned his starting straight...hope to see Alebiosu against Uganda |

Kog45:Bright Osayi tried. But he should be substituted as from 70th minute of every game. Loss of concentration or wetin I no know. Against Zimbabwe, Congo and now Tunisia. |

Mujtahida:Yekini -13 goals then okocha with 7 I think. Lookman may surpass Okocha if he scores 3 more |

Kog45:Egbon u know that Benjamin played because of circumstances as no big boy was available, if the older guys were there, he probably won't have played in the unity cup so it may not be about training. |
