he was just better than he was in our first game

He doesn’t bomb forward and was easily turned in and out on 1v1 situations severally against Tunisia

Dude is wack
This your last statement. I hear am like you smack am. Kpa

you sabi, I also feel the substitution was not bad. The idea was good. Ideally bashiru instead of ejuke would have been better , but he did poorly in the last game. And no winger defends well than Simon in the team currently.(If you know you can suggest). Guys ERIC Chelle is good. But how do you even remedy the nonsense ejuke played. I am a big fan of his but he added nothing to his game today. Eric Chelle thinking was great but the personnel deployed failed. Ejuke should just kiss super eagles good bye because Eric chellle doesn't seem like who forgets easily. The reason dele didn't come in was because of his last performance . But you have to give it to osimhen. Very unselfish with the pass to lookman. Ejuke had the same chance he went for personal glory. It's clear why some players progress others don't.
He added nothing?
You allow your sentiments to form your words.

The current Moses Simon contributes the least defensively.
It is so glaring. Please cross check facts, make your observations over and over..

Playing on their psychology is key. Keep them psyched up, challenged and motivated to be better. Bruno stepped up because he knew the reason he got the nod vs Tunisia was due to Zaidu's poor show vs Tanzania especially how he slept for the Tanzania goal.
Osayi improved coz he understands Chelle will drop his ass too since Zaidu could not be spared. Ryan is lurking and he knows it.

Mujtahida:
Another problem with those guys is that they are not consistent. Can we count on them to put up such decent performances in the next engagement?

TheSuperNerd:
Truth is both fullbacks actually tried yesterday and yes Bright, aside the controversial penalty call, especially showed improvement yesterday although he did struggle a bit against Tounekti who came on. This, I believe, was part reason for the introduction of Ejuke to help out on the right channel.

Bright was key to our possession-transition plays on the right channel and provided more final third penetration. Bruno on the other hand won more duels, made more tackles and provided crosses.

As non-rated as both were before the game, they actually delivered solid showings for the most parts.
Yeah, Osayi did well yesterday....even better than Bruno. He struggled against Tounekti because the Tunisians chose the left wing as their attack outlet and there was suddenly an overload of players against him.

I was particularly impressed by his ball retention, calmness and ability to find the right pass even under pressure. The handball was just unfortunate and shouldn't have been awarded as a penalty. But despite that I'll rate him a solid 7.5/10.

vs Tanzania we were dominant and Iwobi was just splitting the Tanzanians with eagle’s eye passes but what was missing was the numerous chances wasted.

Vs Tunisia we were hugely dominant, but what was missing was keeping clean sheet

Vs Uganda…..??

When it's time we'll discuss what exactly those two NFL coaches are doing for Eric Chelle. Because I only see the white guy talking to Chelle.

Maybe they're in charge of wrong subs.

Two of our goals came from headers. The Super Eagles are becoming a real aerial threat to any team, and our set pieces are getting dangerous too.
Yeah, the crosses yesterday were superb and simply perfect.👌

Watch with 0.5 or 0.25 speed..

it was obvious that he had no blame in that goal but he has been fxcking up for a while now so he used up all his graces.

I don't know if you missed the point where Ejuke won a duel in the very zones Osayi was supposed to man primarily.
Ejuke provided the needed cover required of him.
needed cover? Osayi was left stranded for the most part when ejuke was there. At some point the attacks were facing osayi's side and he had no help.

Chelle is stubborn he doesn’t listen. If this team gets knocked out early am sure there will be lots of revelations.

Even if we are leading by 5-0 he wants to score more goals and he’s ready to remove defenders for that. He is a personal glory hunter!

The boys did very well yesterday.

Onyeka is very important to this team.

Ryan should start the Uganda game.Osayi nearly caused us a PK against Gabon. He repeated the same mistake yesterday, gifting Tunisia a PK.

Chelle didn't hesitate to drop Zaidu for Bruno,he should as well do same with Osayi,
since both play for Championship teams.

We should rest Ndidi,Bassey,Osimhen,Lookman and Iwobi.

We need them to stay injury free for the Round of 16.

Chelle's line-up was spot-on, Onyeka and Bruno coming in for both Chukwueze and Zaidu.

The Right-back needs a competent player.Let's see how Ryan fares against Uganda.

Kudos to Chelle, we are into the round of 16.

We may not win it but last night performance shows we are still contenders. Save for defensive errors and Chelle's weird subs (as usual). The team played to dominate, which was really good to see. Tunisia game was very strong evidence of the SE quality.
