you don’t even need Fredrick’s for now

Another bloody central defensive combo will be Ogbu and Bassey. Both have this no nonsense approach when on the pitch
Maybe I'm mixing him up but I think Ogbu can be a rough tackler sometimes sha.

Then he was new to the team. Plus Jpes no dey take nonsense from GKs then. Last afcon, see the way he used to be vexed on the touchline at Nwabali tantrums. Finidi came and no reaction. Eguavoen didn't even.... Woh!!!

In which world does a manager no vex at such? Na why i dey miss Mourinho that year. You can't be his gk and be silly
Now Chelle is doing the same thing

Osimhen, one of the world's apex striker was through on goal yet he decided to be unselfish and square the ball to Lookman.

When it got to the turn of Ejuke who is an Ekuke player what did he do? He decided to be a selfish glory hunter.
I wish I fit support this post with more likes

Baba pity onyedika and ejuke. There are games ejuke will be handed. It quite unfortunate Eric Chelle made the wrong substitution today
If you mention Simon then you have to include Chukz because Simon is doing far better that Chukz.
By the way, who's even going to replace him?

needed cover? Osayi was left stranded for the most part when ejuke was there. At some point the attacks were facing osayi's side and he had no help.

All i can say is Lookman is a tournament player…im still pained we will miss the world cup…Lookman might not be the “all dribbling and tricky winger in the shape of chukwueze
“ but you see that Lookman, he plays the kind of wing attack you will find in teams like Madrid,Barca,Bayern…very strict and direct wing attack/forward🔥🔥
Yes, he’s definitely a tournament player.

Might not do so well during Qualifiers, but if you get him to the tournament, he will clock in every time. He has impeccable mental strength and rarely crumbles under pressure. You need a player like that on your team, especially when you have an Osimhen, who tends to lose his head if things aren’t clicking for him.

no nah. He got it with the formation
Just his substitution. We are not even blaming those assistant coaches ? What is their job self ?esp those Nigerians . E go shock Una say na them suggest that thing for Eric chellle. Because I don't think a right thinking coach who was able to stifle an all attacking Tunisia side should think that way . Eric Chelle got everything today right. Do you know what it means to play Tunisia the way we did today ?
E be like you dey eye those "Nigerian coaches" jobhuh

From WCQ disappointment to seeing the 3 final goalies. I lost interest in this tournament instantly. When this is not some circus auditions, they brought back Uzoho!! Like Uzoho!! This is the peak of football nepotism. We are having an Nwabali that acts like he's doing us a favor as GK cos he also feels competition no dey and na two clowns they add as backup. 🤢😑😑😑

I would gladly take back an Ezenwa that is great at organizing his players during setpieces than whatever version of Nwabali im seeing right now.

Scary Thought

We might ball in this tournament but na GK go be the weapon fashioned against such balling!!!
Add the coach's erratic substitutions and his obsession for wing play

[quote author=Goke7 post=137932318]For those defending Chelle, continue

city was leading Fulham by the same margin and almost bottled it. Only to end up winning 5-4. This is football and it happens. The one most important thing was a win for us. One game at a time. And we couldn't be in a better position to make our errors and blunders in the group stage right now where we can correct those mistakes. We have so far played the best football in this tournament when we consider the strength of our opponent. There is a whole lot of positive to take from this game.

Some people just want to be heard and out of their emotions they say rubbish.

The way we transited the ball from defence to the final third was a scene that was very rare in our football, but now we carry it out with ease.
This is the sweetest of football that i have seen of the Super Eagles in a very long while.

He did not see any positive to comment about, just the opening of his mouth to talk about a scenario that is beyond his understanding.
The wingers did their job.

To kill the momentum of the Tunisians we needed wingers with the energy to run into space, to run with the ball and make something happen and we almost succeeded.
This is lit 🔥

Goke7:
On the bright side something is beginning to click in our midfield and I like how Iwobi is beginning to take leadership shielding the ball like mikel those days. Even the osayi we are blaming tried his best linking with the midfield and attack. That was a beauty to behold. Ndidi has finally come to the party and we may be seeing more goals from him.

Akor deserves to be in our starting 11 he’s bringing much into the side and as for Lookman and osihmen just leave them to cook. Chelle is the Judas iscariot. I can only pray he doesn’t sell us for 30 pieces of silver as the tournament progresses but after this Afcon no matter the outcome make the man Dey go. It’s obvious he ruined our World Cup dreams! God punish am!
Una too dey talk nonsense where you when Chelle took over. Calm down on your criticism of the Coach. He has only lost once in regulation time we play better football under Chelle than under rohr finidi and pesero.

I believe he'll sort out his man management.

You dey talk as if nor be the coach still set the formation we use take score the 3 goals

Meanwhile Osayi penalty is never a penalty, Nigerians should be dragging that ref and CAF

I can never understand it till now, ball hit Osayi head and arm, in a position very far from goal in a jumping position with hands naturally placed, but because Tunisia players and fans were being dramatic you gave them penalty.

Such an embarrassment to the ref
This refs must be careful and not ruin this tournament because they do not know their jobs. The North Africans act and bully a lot, they must know their jobs.

Except the handball, Bright played his best game for the Eagles yesterday. He is growing in confidence and interpretation. He supports the midfield. He looks like he is beginning to understand his role and interpret it well

Anglo Nigerian, Daniel Oyegoke in action for Hellas Verona at RWB vs AC Milan in Serie A.

Another 🇳🇬 RB prospect alongside Femi Seriki and co.

Gift Orban on the bench for Verona.
