I think those who were born with both male and female genitals that later did surgery to choose one are also categories as transgender reasons why you may have countries like Nigeria, Iran and Pakistan

Lol. It is possible. There are lot of queer people in Nigeria, including the ones that are open about their sexuality and the closeted ones.

Also, I think there's a misconception about being a transgender. The term is actually encompassing, it includes cross dressers, drag queens etc. It is not all transgender folks that pursue medical or hormone treatments/procedures or surgeries etc to match their current gender identity.

They also do not identify with the original sex registered for them at birth as opposed to being a cisgender (those who identify with the sex registered for them at birth).

I've attended some queer parties and mehn, they indeed have a community.
