jihday:What if he gi carry injury? Moreover, trying new players is more important as we head into playoffs, we need to know what and what we have on the bench. And there are about six players at 2 goals in case you don't know. |

Spainever:No be Nigerians for you? 😂 the person we suppose face we go divert pour am for innocent person. The coach was the culprit. For the first time I have no player to blame yesterday. And thank God osihmen scored he would have been the main scapegoat. |

MetalJigsaw:Frank Onyeka was on the field of play when we conceded the first goal. The barrage of attacks were through the wings. I kept reviewing this case and I insist he made the right call. Wingers and defenders are what you need for a quick bail out in this kind of situation. Remember Awaziem's long ball in the match against Gabon. Wingers will not only help you defend, they can also run with the ball towards goal. That is how dynamic their import can be. In this kind of situation you need quick transition and recovery. |

Meliforme:the Tunisians were not posing any threat even when they got their first goal, which was only a result of a freekick that should have not been conceded in the first place. Things would have just returned to normal after that goal, but things changed with the substitution of Onyeka. |

Our players needs to start Diving inside the 18?yard box. All the North African teams have gotten dodgy penalties, look at the penalty given to Algeria now, pure diving from Ait Nouri. Wasnt even reviewed by the VAR |

I don't think Chelle is good at game management. Although I won't fault his substitutions entirely. I enjoyed the game for 75 minutes. I wanted us to keep on dominating till the end because of my love for that kind football. But maybe we should have become really cautious choking up the midfield and throwing an extra defender. Then bring in Onuachu to be the lone man upfront, to keep the scores at a respectable 3-0, but I am not a coach ![]() |

🔴🟡 Union Berlin have opened talks with Göztepe for Anthony Dennis. 🗣️⏳ The first €6.5m bid was rejected, with the Turkish club demanding €10m for the Nigerian midfielder. ❌ Leipzig and Werder Bremen are interested too Union are aiming to close the deal for around €7–8m. 💰

When he was asked question about the pen against us, he said he doesn't know the rule of pen for such hand ball and am like really? Maybe what he's trying to say was to him the rule was not clear enough or trying to play safe about talking against the decision But my take on that decision is that wasn't a pen, for pete's sake the defender was jumping, can you jump with your hands behind your back? whenever you jump to contest for a ball in the air, you have to balance yourself with your hands away from your body! FIFA is making things really tough for defenders expecting them to stand like statues when contesting for the ball in the box, utter rubbish ![]() Joebie: |

Spainever:you cant watch highlight and come to his defence like this ... he fiddled out after 60-70mins .... i think Chelle should learn how to manage this team , its been a general problem since the time of Rohr .... mental alertness of the backline drops after 70minutes . if we must win the AFCON , the team should wake up including Nwabali , |

Choking the midfield is not being cautious is simply creating balance. Every successful endeavors requires balance. For 75 minutes we had that balance and we dominated. Tunisia changed to 4-3-3, and you as a coach thought the best reaction is to go 4-4-2? Haba. Even someone without football knowledge knows 4-3-3 is the antidote to 442. Joebie: |

Sarsaparilla524:Very popular bro. 😂😂😂😜😜Rumor has it that it was from this thread that Finidi got his line up and soaked up tiki taka football philosophy from one of the veterans of this thread. Whether it was his improper digestion of the philosophy or the philosophy itself that led him astray, I cannot say but the rest as they say is history. That misadventure cost us world cup qualification. |
