In a candid 1964 interview with foreign journalists, Sir Ahmadu Bello stated he would rather employ foreigners than Igbos in the northern civil service, citing fears of Igbo domination. The moment you understand why Nigeria is the way it is today, you will be seeking the dissolution if you really love to have a country that works, except you don't seek to have a country that works... |

Exactly, especially the ekumeku war that lasted for over 31 years from 1881 to 1914 with the British army where they lost many soldiers and officers to Igbo warriors. The British empire swore never to ever forgive the Igbo for daring to stand up against the British empire. This is why every Igbo person anywhere in the world carry themselves with pride and honor. Our ancestors fought subjugation, humiliation and enslavement when others submitted easily. |

Don't Igbos get tired always seeking victims? -Was it the British that made you lose the south south alliance? -Was it the British that made azikwe contesting head of state in South West this leaving his own region bereft of quality leadership? -Were you not the first president? -Were you not the first of alot of development in Nigeria so much that your leader boasted of being the one to save the black man race? -Was it the British that sponsored the massive brain drain of the south east to other regions which still happens till date? - Was it the British that made you reject the secession clause that could have allowed you shaped your region destiny? -zik and ojukwu ruined your destiny in the 90s, you allowed Nnamdi kanu ruined it in the 20s. Your leaders took a lot of senseless decisions and miss strategic decisions pre independence of which the pains you will inherit till tommrow. |

Stop changing narrative Actions of Azikiwe, Kaduna Nzeogwu, Ojukwu and now Kanu contributed for Igbo hatred. Azikiwe made sure he frustrated Awolowo, by forming alliance with north.(Yoruba hatred) Nzeogwu killed many Hausa and Fulani elites, in first coup, (Hausa hatred) Ojukwu led civil war (whole Nigeria hatred) Kanu insulting Nigeria (whole Nigeria hatred)

Did anybody bother to read the nonsense. Some people will always whinge and whine. They are the most widely dispersed of all the tribes but will still claim discrimination. Always right and never wrong Jews. |

Crying and playing the victim card is a sure way to remain insignificant in any society. They always blame others fir their failures in life. Simply pathetic. |

Quite apt! Despite all the attempts to destroy the Igbos, stealing what they had during and after the genocide, Igbos are still by far, the more economically successful as a group. How do you steal from someone, add it to yours, strip them of everything, only for them to catch up to you and surpass you?? God does not sleep! |

At least the blame game has shifted The Igbos are not united as they think Again they don't have strategy or plan in politics they live for the moment. How can somebody like ojukwu loose election in anambra,if they were that they could have ralied behind him,now obi ,wike ,amechie and many others from the same tribe all want to be presidents at the same time. No game plan at all |

Throwback:Leave that thing. Read and comprehend. The British did the South South and South East bad, they run us street by that useless amalgamation by Lugard. The region known as Southern region would have been millions of miles away in physical and human capital development if not for that useless amalgamation. For instance, Nigeria cannot account for it's human population due to the reckless birth rate and uneducated people in the North which in turn breed criminality. Enough being said here. All I know is that we don't have anything in common and would be better off without them. |
