As it stands, Zambia and Comoros will join Zimbabwe as the eliminated teams…

So var are now awarding offside goal
No VAR replay details to confirm if it was offside or not. Terrible

Even last Afcon was not this bad. We saw all VAR replays and details and all the lines drawn to confirm every offside incidents

They gave it to Ivory Coast too so why not Morocco!
They beat us fair and square. CIV beat Mali and Senegal fair and square. Against Mali, Mali decided to lose a penalty, had a one-man advantage for about 80 minutes and couldn't still win.
Against Senegal, Senegal wasted chances to score more goals and CIV won.
Now against us, we were completely outplayed.

Officiating was terrible in first half as they were kicking our players all over the place and the refs looked on which made jpes furious and got a card. How’s that fair?

Off the pitch many Nigerians couldn’t get into the stadium despite having tickets. Some had to disguise as Ivorians to get in. So much for fairness indeed

Morocco has the playbook already. Don’t worry

That's not nice. Is it a must for the host to carry the cup?
Except they go out in the knockout stages once they are in the semis it’s over!

Nigeria would have conceded if we were the ones playing Zambia.

Which Zambia? The players who should jn their male team have probably been seconded to the female teams.

how did they give it to Ivory coast naaa…Ivory coast simply rode on football luck to win that cup, it was not like they favoured them anywhere.
Their round 16 vs Senegal was a also a game of luck winning on penalties.
Their quarterfinal against Mali was a sweet come back they did beating Chelle’s Mali in the die mins
Their final against us, they outplayed us clean clean and won the cup…there was nothing like ojoro

I think I'll prefer Nnadi where you put Akinsanmiro..

I'll bring Akin on in the second half, maybe to replace Lookman
Or start Akin, move Lookman to where Akor is, and rest Akor
Makes sense too.

The final match was full of ref bias and it was well narrated and commented upon on this thread you can go back and check. No host will get to the final and not do everything to win. There’s also pressure on the referee anytime the host is in any crucial stage of a tournament especially when they come across a very strong opponent. At the group stage when we met Ivory Coast we weren’t considered a threat after we had a shaky start in our first game it was after we won Ivory Coast in that group game we went on a roll to the final. All odds were stacked against us in that final and that’s the disadvantage of playing the host in a final.

bros what whenever we lose a match, people in this forum will always look for one or two things to hinge blame on…..That game was ours for the taking…..wether ref bias or not, a good sound team will beat that CIV team…our yeye jpes tactics coupled with over usage of players made us loose that final…e no ojoro anything….CIV won that final clean with clean goals…super eagles started pegging back when CIV found their mojo in that final…not that there was a penalty call for us that was not given….or we scored a goal that was cancel…or they gave CIV a dubious penalty to win us….those guys calmed down studied us, came extra psyched up and fired us wetin no good…that final was a balanced final…

The best team don’t win tournaments most times. CIV was not the best team in the last tournament in fact the current team is way better than the team that won the Afcon as hosts. Lots of factors play out in winning a tournament (both off and off the pitch and yes including officiating) even when the eagles won in 2013 they were not the best team. CIV with drogba and yaya toure were much better but were beaten by the eagles. The better sides don’t win always.

This your current eagles may not even reach the final this time around, why don’t you wait till the end of this Afcon before you conclude.

My major challenge with uzoho is that he is more likely to punch a ball that catch it
And his punches can gift goal scoring opportunities to opponents..

Even in the UECL clips where they said he did well, he punched 5-6 balls before he caught 1..
And that has cost us before..

Nevertheless, he deserves an opportunity if Nwabali cannot start our next game
He punches far tho. Make we sha observe am if them go start am.
