It's not that difficult, but the best thing to do is to locate any NSE branch in your area and then ask them to help. This is because with NSE, you are expected to have been a member at your branch before application for becoming a corporate member. Process includes paying for application, and then signing your acknowledgement form by your branch executives, you will also need two proposals who are financially upto date to recommend you. You will need to attend a compulsory online workshop, write a compulsory online exam and also a compulsory oral interview that is also online.

However, if you already have COREN, you can join through the association route

Mine still showing 60% under review too....and I learnt exams for the first quarter is 2nd -5th of next month....

Any idea on when the certificate, seal and stamp for those who qualified in April and July will be out?

Have you been recommended for council approval? I heard that there's likely to be a council sitting this coming last week of January and that the list of January batch 2026 of approved engineers will be released afterwards.

I haven't been recommended.... that's why I said my application is still reading 60% and completed all process 100%

Even when you have been recommended, it will still be at 60% until you are approved and you pay the 68k approval fee. That's why I was asking if you have been recommended for Council approval.


I heard there will be a council sitting this coming Thursday, those who have been approved will likely be able to pay the approval fee as from next week.

The first Quarter of COREN exam is scheduled for 2nd - 5th febuary, 2026 at Abuja. The registration runs round the year. You can start your own registration today to be part of the next Coren certified Engineers.

There's a new Council List for January 2026 on the COREN website. Most of the approved candidates were probably those that appliied last year as their Application ID started with APP25.

Please why have COREN certificate, stamps and seals not issued to registered members since July 2025? How long more do one need to wait.
