owagbeba:It is not about balance. It is about a person’s overall circumstances |

integrityicon:I am sorry but I don’t understand any of this. What does your friend’s birth certificate have to do with your own circumstance so I can know how to answer the first part of your query.. Also what actual pictures did you submit? If they doubt the child is yours due to late registration and you feel you also added supporting documents to evidence that, you either raise a complaint that your evidence was not looked at OR you go have a think of taking your child to another country for visit. There are so many others OR do a DNA from an accredited UKVI centre .. |

Hello gesille and good people in the house I want to ask a question I and my two children have unuse expired South Africa visitor visas on ur passport, will it boost ur chance of been granted if we apply for u k tourist visa? |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by integrityicon: 9:31am On Dec 29, 2025 |
Firstly South Africa is not an A or B list Visa, Secondly unuse visa is more like no visa as the usage only validate travel history. on Goodluck70000: |

Goodluck70000:Re your UK immigration history with multiple refusals, South african unused and expired visa does not help nor boost your chances. |

|
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Taal17: 11:24pm On Dec 29, 2025 |
Trendie247:In your next application make sure you address the reason why you were denied. They listed it there No qualifications and no evidence that you are registered nurse . Did you provide that earlier ? |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Trendie247: 12:23am On Dec 30, 2025 |
Taal17:I will provide them in my next application. But my fear is that they may now focus on the funding and sponsorship, cos they just mentioned them without further details. For the certificate, below is what I provided, I didn't think nursing certificate would be important since NMC UK registration details and PRN was provided. (You can't register with NMC UK without providing your nursing certificate and license)

Good morning, my people. I am applying for a UK visa, and I made a mistake in the application. I have not gone for biometrics. I want to cancel the application and re-apply for it again. Will I get a refund of the previous visa fee? Who has experience of this that can share his/her experience? Thanks. |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by giselle237: 5:56am On Dec 30, 2025 |
Trendie247:Your fears are correct. Also they will pick up your sponsorship. The reason you gave is not cohesive. You sad your employer is sponsoring your OSCE exam so that you will become a better nurse. How so? Osce exam is to enable you no longer work in Nigeria but make u eligible to work in the UK, so how would you be of benefit to a Nigerian employer this way? Why would a Nigerian employer that pays you 120k suddenly have. 2m to give to you to go and write a foreign exam? The next application they would likely bring up another reason because your financial history is a no no. That’s why they listed everything down for you to see. 127k salary they won’t take that chance that you will return back to Nigeria. If you have a spouse or children then maybe they would believe you, otherwise I see another refusal lined up. |

Ifelajulo:You will be refunded. Just hold onto the previous card. It will be sent back there in a couple of weeks. |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Trendie247: 7:23am On Dec 30, 2025 |
giselle237:Although I listed it as a gift, the sponsorship is actually a training bond that requires me to return and work for the company for a minimum of two years |

Trendie247:Find out from other nurses in your industry how and where they are taking their exams currently. In my humble opinion, your current circumstances make your UK visa chances low Or Reapply now for one day or two days just for the exam. If you have an exam date there’s no reason to want to stay for 2 months as you filled in your application form. Keep it strictly to the timetable of the exam and provide all your nursing qualifications and try again. If you say you are staying over 1 month and 27 days the visa officer will 100% put this into consideration and it will work against you because you can not afford the trip singlehandedly. |

Trendie247:You should have put the eligibility for for NIMC registration in the space for more information. That way you could have addressed your certification and work experience. Not every case worker knows your industry. I didn't see where they mentioned your funding as the reason for the denial. The only thing I would possibly question is why you are staying for one month because of an exam, does the exam last for weeks? |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by jmoore(m): 10:03am On Dec 31, 2025 |
Trendie247:Most of my clients went to write OSCE exam. You have to provide your nursing certificate, nursing license, OSCE receipt, NMC Decision letter-Test of competence invitation. |
