He was said to be popular influential, what could be the problem?

Another reason wee should be pressured by influencers and celebrities, many are living a lie, image the negative impact his suicide will have on his worshippers.

People chasing validation for everything they don online have deep seated issues, their lives are a complete opposite of what they portray, just like couples who flaunt their marriages and daily lives online have deep seated issues.

undecided why did he not seek help from professionals.

Or talk to someone.

I hope he finds peace. I am scared that God won't accept his soul.

I am certainly a candidate for suicide but I feel the punishment I got from Paystack is just a challenge. And I'll overcome it. I've never in my life felt the depression I've had for the past one month.

For those who don't know......

I am fundraising to make a documentary about the origin, history and evolution of religion. Once Africans understand how our ancestors came up with the concept of God and a savior. Redeemer, Messiah, we'll be freed from religion.

Could you believe that an Indian donated about $1,500 to support me but a Mr. Tosin (a Christian) at Paystack review department unilaterally refunded the money back to the sender? A black man refunded money donated by an Asian to make a documentary about how Africans invented the concept of God!!

No be juju be that??
Re: Anda Damisa (Lazywrita) Dies By Suicide? by SeriouslySense(m): 11:36am On Dec 30, 2025
You are the cause of rising suicide.

When you encourage the belief that there is no God.

People dont have a hope of an afterlife. And they think after suicide they will never exist again.

Suicide is not encouraged, there is hope.

Omorr, e no easy. I can remember when I battled chronic depression. I go a whole week with 2hrs sleep per day. Home alone, no one to talk to. I was an introvert then. Luckily, I met with my new squad, them tear eyes, get voltage. That was how I faced my fears, put fingers into elders eyes wey stress me, Dem dey fear me now.
This was 7years ago. I felt suicidal severally, was manipulated by MOGs, stopped going to church. I want to beat one elder as my new year resolution.

It's quite easy to say that if you've been through tough times and conquered, but I tell you, with depression, it's different. I lost a friend; he was about 10 years old when he took his own life by hanging on the ceiling fan in his room. What problems could a boy at that age possibly have? My uncle, a pastor, k..lled himself too. Did he not believe in God enough? I too was once depressed sometime in 2012. I was doing well financially, wasn't hurt by anyone, had a girlfriend that I had not broken up with, so no heartbreaks either. Life suddenly became so miserable but without a cause. To this date, I still don't know what caused that hellish feeling. Everything became meaningless and empty, and even the funniest of jokes wouldn't move me. Yes, it passed and I'm alive today, but since then I have learned never to judge whoever decides to end it all by themselves. I believe it's a psychological phenomenon that's beyond their control.

Someone was thinking I was heartless to be hard on this person, that I don't know the battles, I don't know the things this person is going through, I don't know this and that and I said part of being a man is surviving trials of this world. I told the person to give me an alternative to willingly participating in your own death and the person could not. And then I said, finding solution is a much better part to taking your life. No matter what. I stand by my words. Life is tough. It will break you but sometimes I think Nigeria's law or punishment for attempting suicide is more of a logical one than the punishment itself. Nigeria's law is telling you, if you want to do it, just do it and go, make sure you do it.

You don't know the pain you cause those living when you selfishly consider yourself only. You're not living for yourself alone if you don't know. Especially when you have influence. I prefer you take more steps to help live than take the easy step to press the end button when you know we will all leave this world unalive!

Then like those boys who shoot in US, you now write a manifesto letter on your death. For what? Just go silently and don't disturb the world if you wanted us to not worry about you. It would have been easier for the loved ones to lie to us and tell us he died in his sleep. I am so disappointed and I have no nice words to say. This is where we have raised this generation to mental health everything. Spiritually ungrounded, digitally prosperous. Perhaps one day, we will realise our true reason for living. A person is a person because of another person (Umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu”: a person is a person because of other people). We will remember our purpose on earth, stay grounded and keep serving others because service to humanity is the price you pay for earth. Fall seven times, rise up 8th.
May you never suffer what some of these people suffer because then you will understand that the struggle goes beyond finding a solution to external challenges. Do you think Robin Williams didn't overcome all the external challenges that came his way? Yet he faced a battle you will never understand if you don't suffer from the same or similar ailment. An ailment where you own body is fighting you every step of the way and not even in a way you can properly articulate to someone who is not suffering it.

I repeat, may you never suffer it.
Re: Anda Damisa (Lazywrita) Dies By Suicide? by Kalulu44: 11:48am On Dec 30, 2025
I don't pity him one bit. If only he knows what other people are going thru, he wouldn't have done such. You wey don get chance take pictures with a whole Lagos State governor, mean say you don get small levels. Na im you dey kpai yourself.
Go to hell! We don't care about the emotional jargons you wrote down.
.
Let me repeat it here, I have never seen anything or problem that will make me even think not to talk of taking my life. Even as the problems dey, the life still dey sweet

Suicide is never the answer; no matter how heavy things feel, it’s all temporary. If he’s dealing with life's general pressures, he really needs to reach out and get some support. But if all this is over a woman? Honestly, I’ve got nothing to say on that.

I once shared the same opinion, until I had the opportunity to live and work with people suffering from depression. Depression is not something you wish away, it is a brain disease and unfortunately if not handled properly will always lead to disastrous end.

Aside that, let me use your own logic - according to you "suicide is a selfish act..." So does guilting someone, who has taken stock of their own lives and come to the conclusion (I agree that it could be an erroneous conclusion) that there is nothing left for them. Isn't it selfish to force someone to live with such a mental agony for your own glorification? Let us not even go into the selfish act that surrounds the decision that brought the person into this world in the first place grin I would rather not tow the path of "selfishness" when describing the act of suicide, I would rather show more empathy for the victims and give hope to those in similar situation.

I would like to point out, that anyone suffering from depression or that have persistent suicidal thoughts, should seek professional help. It can be managed and you can once again live a fulfilled and pain free life.

Re: Anda Damisa (Lazywrita) Dies By Suicide? by SeriouslySense(m): 11:54am On Dec 30, 2025
It could be due to a loss of valuing our existence.

For me when I feel down I always know the secret to feel better 100 percent smiley. I play with the earth and animals.

I dont take anything seriously, I just go back to the Most simple under rated things.

Plus I think it has a spiritual aspect to it. The forces of hell want to destroy our souls, they whisper how we are not worth existing.

So we need to pray to God, to give us strength.

Where he thought he was?...in Heaven? Stress is always part of life ... this guy was a real ajebutter ...... what was soo overwhelming in life ? ... was it he was now getting 18 hours of electricity instead of 24? ... was it Royal Green Tea was no longer easily available? I can see why his gf left ...she couldn't wait longer for the boy to become a man ...which he never did imagine if he had children ... he was likely to take them all with him. Let's now blame all these on mental health. We need to get back to our roots .....for mental health institutions were never a part of African culture .

You wont understand.

We are different and our realities are different, because we are made differently and see differently, just be glad that you have the gift of facing your challenges, dont compare yourself to another.

For me something simple as staying around nature uplifts me but to others its not same.

You don't have a clue,do you. How old are you really. Depression affects the brain directly and therefore the thinking process.
Somebody could lose all his wealth and family and still plug on because the cogitation apparatus is still intact but a man with family support and wealth could be a goner because of depression. When this is understood then workable plans could be implemented to help the victim.

People are going through things; things that you will faint by merely hearing of. Everyone (thing) have a breaking point-a point where you can't take it anymore. A point where you will feel justified to take your own life. Pray you never get to your breaking point
Re: Anda Damisa (Lazywrita) Dies By Suicide? by SeriouslySense(m): 12:03pm On Dec 30, 2025
That is it and may God never allow us to commit suicide. I trust God. In Jesus name. Amen.

I have a great compassion for those who committed suicide. Because we all go through times that are very challenging. And then the devil will come and whisper things like suicide.

But God grace is sufficient and he has good plans for everyone. Yes to life. God is great and life he has given us is great. Thank God for the gift of life and i hope He finds rest. cry
