Our coaches not giving Raphael playing time, is seriously affecting his game.

From his debut up until Chelle's appointment, he has always been known for his goals and forward passes.

The forward passes seems to be lacking in his game lately. He now prefers side-ways passing and back-ward passes.

He got his mojo back, and started threading diagonal and forward passes after his brace.

We've a midfield maestro in our hands, but must give him enough playing time to excel.

I'm so happy for Raphel, been clamouring for him to be played all this while, and he took it with both hands when the opportunity presented itself..
For those of us familiar with his game, this comes as no suprise at all, we hope he's afforded more opportunities along the line.
He has just played himself into reckoning
It will be hard to ignore him now

I'm so happy for him

Very matured and professional performance from the boys but must we always concede?

Good to see that our reserves especially the midfielders look up to the task should we need to draft them in.

Great Man of the Match display from Onyedika. Took his two goals very well and always controlled things in the middle of the park.

Fisayo too was good. Nnadi looks decent.

Ryan looked very assured defending and going forward. Will get better.

Bruno has sealed the left back position for now.

Overall confident performance going into the second round.

Also have PTSD from the last time we finished with full 9 points in the group stage but I'm optimistic we will surmount that second round hurdle by God's grace.

Attack is looking more fluid every game. Long may it continue.

P.S. Uzoho did well with the basics that's all I really want from the goalkeepers for now.

Another player that caught my fancy was Nnadi, his forward and diagonal passes was a delight to watch.

Both Nnadi & Raph if given enough playing time can deputise for Iwobi.

Yeah he honestly impressed me.

Been a a while we had a midfielder who could provide that goal scoring threat.

We might be in trouble in the next round if the pattern of substitution remains the same. The coach is expected to make like for like changes. I keep saying it that the setup must remain the same from beginning till the end.

Always have 2 STRIKERS ON THE PITCH at all times, when that happens no striker tires out , no injuries, more goal scoring options and most importantly, the tempo never drops. A good team might capitalize on this and knock us out.

The coach needs to do better in this aspect. This message must get to the coach. If anyone here has the means to do so please do.
I don't understand you ooo. I think he was right today . Bringing a midfielder helped us control the game. Forget the goal, it was a transient loss of concentration from our defenders. But sincerely , igoh awaziem pair can never work. I like alebiosu. All he needs now is master the ruggedness that comes with African football

Exactly
I feel for him
But his time is running out
Ogbu has moved closer to the first team while Awaziem has moved further from the squad altogether..
I see him being dropped after the AFCON

Who noticed uzoho was distributing the ball today well. I feel confident the way he was handling the ball than nwabali ( not crucifying the dude though) but there is this arrogance that comes when he is with the ball. Unnecessary delays.

Yeah, he still plays like a " butty" but it was a good introduction to African football for him
He will only improve

Ryan Alebiosu is ambidextrous.
He uses both feet well just like Ola Aina.

I think he was just cautious. Osimhen at full flight plays with a more energetic display.

In a way I was pleased with his subdued performance because it allowed other players to shine and show what they are about.

Seems Eric doesn't rate Dessers.

Joebie:
Osimhen is not playing like he is 100% fit. Or he played cautiously uncharacteristically today.

I loved Fisayo's discipline..
He held his position well
Was spraying passed like kilode!

Proper midfield display!
He and Onyedika held it down!

Maybe good for today's game, but think about it this way , we were trying to manage a game we were already assured of top spot despite being 3 goals up. Secondly, we needed to see all our players and know how well they can solidify the tactics.
Anytime there is a change in formation, all the players become confused. Every mistake made by the players has its root in the change of tactics.
You can still manage a game with 2 strikers on the field.
