Saw the highlight of Alebiousu against Uganda and for a player making is debut he was solid most especially driving forward with the ball and making attacking runs off the ball

I believe more games will boast his confidence and when that happens we will have another polished and classy RB just like Aina

I also noticed he is bipedal. The NFF should reach out to Sheffield United’s Femi Seriki, both him and Alebiosu will man the RB position for the team for many years to come and many won’t miss Aina whenever he decides to retire from International football

Against Tunisia, there is this chest control and heading down pass he gave to Lookman that he blazed over the bar, walai Osimhen for slap that shot inside the net instead of heading it down to lookman…na those kind goals he dey score for europe
It was blocked o.

Since the Egypt friendly, I've been calling for Onuachu to start alongside Osimhen in attack instead of Akor.

Onuachu brings superb holdup play and ball distribution and being a big target man, draws defenders to himself thereby taking pressure off Osimhen.

His aerial threat also means defenders can't concentrate only on Osimhen during corners/ indirect free kicks.

I hope Chelle will listen to me now.
I hope not.

Onyeka is a must in our starting 11 especially if the team is facing a tough and superior opposition

Bobo na tank wey fit run 120 mins harassing opponent’s midfield and attackers
Imagine DRC or Cameroun without Onyeka.

But how come Europeans and South American teams dey knack all these gidigbo African teams wetin no good for world cup?

exactly, the likes of Ogbu, Fisayo, Alebiosu, Nnadi, Akor, Fredrick Chiemela, Akinsanmiro, Chrisantus plus those that are yet to be uncapped like Nwaiwu, Dennis Anthony, Seriki, Azeez, Otele etc the future looks bright and well taken care of

It’s left for the NFF to get the administration aspect right
It's good that we are quickly blending the old and new guys so that transition will be smooth and seamless.

As per Sofascore, we are averaging the most possession per game so far in this AFCON (63.7%), second most big chances created (15), third most accurate passes per game (456), third most accurate long balls per game (24.3), most accurate cross per game (7), second most shot per game (16.3) and second most shot on target per game (7.3)

I think the edge European and South American teams have over us is that they seem to produce more creative and technical midfielders than us

Also in European top leagues their midfield products are mostly allowed to fit in where their quality suits more unlike African midfielders that are mostly deployed to take more defensive roles because of our natural agility to cover more ground, physicality and energy then the ones that are naturally creative are likely to be pushed to the flanks/wings

I was almost chearing tears just now. How can Mali produce a world class coach like Eric chelle and Nigeria with so many great Ex international cannot boost of a good manager.
Is a very big shame.
Keshi has coached the same Mali before. Siasia did very well before his ban. Whether we admit or not, Amuneke made history in Tanzania. Amodu coached in the South African league for years!!!! Ndubuisi Egbo has coached in the European club competition as well.

Drop Moses Simon, If you can play all your midfielders and drive forward.
Personally, I'd play iwobi as used in his club or close upfront near the goal. And my midfield 3 will be Ndidi, Onyeka and Onyedika. Total midfield shutdown. Trust me, our loose balls that occur near opponent's vital area will be driven home
Iwobi has been playing in midfield in Fulham since Chuks started cooking.

Please whoever has assess to Uzoho should tell him to continue to be calm. I liked his composure yesterday.

I hate it when a player is shaky or panicky
It affects my enjoyment of the match.

Dem score you, dem score you. No need being panicky. That's one quality Stanley has that I love so much. He's very calm unfortunately arrogance, carelessness and rash mindedness make Nwabali come dey jogodo

I wish you saw the game because now na highlights u go run go see. Go watch 90mins of that game. Make out time and u will see why I have always waxed Lyrical about that lad as Ndidi's Upgrade.

Note that I am glad Ndidi is on form at this Afcon especially as he is Captain and I sincerely hope he keeps it up and leads us all the way to the title but you see Onyedika. In him, we have his upgrade and we can build around him by adding Akin, Uche, Nnadi and others for the long run.

Just go watch the game and see that Nerdie hardly misses on proper player profiling.
Well done doc!!!!! To be honest, you have a great eye for spotting and reporting talents, well done again.

Meanwhile e still remain one more player I dey expect o, make I no mention im name so una go give me death injection.

why on earth have i not seen a nigerian referee in this afcon?
or is it that no nigerian referee was considered good enough for an african event?
not one in VAR, sideline or center referee?
haba this is sad

Onyedika passes vs UGANDA
Onyedikachi is better offensively & at goal scoring
Ndidi is better at ball retrieving
If we jam Ivory Coast or ball playing teams which DM would you prefer to play ?

Alebiosu is now a full fledged Super Eagle. I pray that he moves to Premier League or other top European team. By the time he finishes showing workings at this AFCON. Clubs go gather around am. He got the height. The built, the speed, the skill, the positioning. He can only get better.

I miss Benjamin Fredricks.
Super confident & skillful defender
Semi Ajayi, Zaidu, Nwabali & Bright Osayi could be exposed & tested in the quarter finals
If they are not good enough, it will show
From now on it’s bye bye to any team that makes mistakes
Our team concedes silly goals too much
Offensive players work hard to score goals & then defensive players concede cheap goals
Team ain’t balanced

When they defend he just doesn’t take the initiative to do some things
Just feels like he’s strolling in the park and waiting for someone else to make serious challenges
He needs to be proactive at the back a lot more else
Me dey fear DRC, Ivory Coast(Amad dialo), South Africa, Algeria(Mahrez), Egypt, Morocco with their quick passes
I no even Dey fear Mbeumo Cameroun or aging Senegal team sef

Adams is the best & versatile player to complement Osimhen
Onuachu won’t give what Adams produces
I also don’t think Adams can play as a lone striker for the super eagles, same way I won’t advice using Boniface as lone striker for super eagles
