omo DRC is giving vibe of title contenders oo…Those guys can beat any team in this afcon…they are just dominating all the teams coming their way
They are
Plus they seem very big in size too lol
I mean it’s a very physical team that can play ball
DRC will beat a team like SA, e sure me
Could take a technical side like Egypt, Morocco or Algeria to edge them
Hoping we don’t face DRC, Senegal or Ivory Coast
DRC go bring mercenaries come lol
How many weeks did it even take FIFA to make them eligible
Did they play for other nations at youth levels 🤔🫤?
It took Lookman almost 2 years to get FIFA approval

they are very very huge…they are just silently breezing past opponents conceding only 1goal in the group stage
Them torture Benjamin that day. If not for his
Immense quality, the DRC players would have made a mince meat of him.

Semi Ajayi seems like a passive defender to me
When they defend he just doesn’t take the initiative to do some things
Just feels like he’s strolling in the park and waiting for someone else to make serious challenges
He needs to be proactive at the back a lot more else
Me dey fear DRC, Ivory Coast(Amad dialo), South Africa, Algeria(Mahrez), Egypt, Morocco with their quick passes
I no even Dey fear Mbeumo Cameroun or aging Senegal team sef
You for just withdraw the team from the tournament then😕

Against Nigeria?

I prefer to meet DRC than Algeria

We will settle down and Beat DRC this time around

They are big, strong, very mobile and aggressive but they are inexperienced

We go beat them in Regulation time this time around.

No doubt they are well drilled

But, there's a big BUT

We are better well drilled than them. They secret to our play this AFcon is that we actually play the ball on the ground.

If you put the ball on the ground, you will beat most African teams 9 out of 10 times.

Of course we can beat them. But, DRC is far from inexperienced. Because of all their dual nationality players/allegiance switch, they have tons of experience and expertise, Musuaku, Tuanzebe, Bissaka etc.

Not at all
I just meant to say the team just doesn’t seem balanced
From the QF, teams/players/goalies with issues will be exposed by tougher opponents
Peseiro hid our flaws with the formation we used that’s why we got to the finals
The holes still exist in the defense, goalkeepers as well as offensive central creative midfielder(no Iwobi replacement) - I’m surprised I’ve never heard of Iwobi being injured
I guess he takes care of himself very well or he plays in such a fashion that avoids tackles/injury

I’m so happy that days are gone when mofos will be advocating for the use of npfl players in the super eagles team to execute high profile matches and tournaments

If DRC with clubs like TP Mazembe and Leopards can start luring European born players to play for them na our players from Kano pillars and Enyimba go fit face them?🤣🤣🤣

The round of 16 will feature a reunion between Mali and Tunisia. Morocco, the host country, will face Tanzania, which qualified with only two points. Morocco got the weakest team with two points , however Tanzania side that drew Tunisia will put in their best but I am sure Morrocco will wallop Tanzania

Tanzania almost equalized 2-2 against us o. Even though we played better than them, no doubt but Morocco would write them off at their own peril.

Osihmen just need to surpass or equal Yekini record and no one can ever question his world class status in the years ahead. For me that’s the easiest achievement he can attain now than winning any trophy
