I still don't understand how we are in the same country with this people, banditry is their way. They keep going backward with their thinking and it's affecting the whole country.

Nothing concern this once with Ai and software developments, their politicians steal their futures and give them plates and hijabs to wear while their children study abroad
What are you even talking about! Those that banned interaction between men and women. It also simply means that their ladies can not have programming instructors that are male. Very backward set of people. I wonder why Western education is an abomination to them and they want their children and future generation to continue in that path. Yet, they want development like that of the Western worlds.

Another reason why Nigeria is a contraption of unequal bedfellows.

Yoked together into a marriage of convenience that never meant to last.

Actually this segregation of the genders has been in force for residents of Kano for decades. Back in the day I visited Kano and was baffled to see that some minibuses were marked with child-like paintings of women wearing masquerade costumes, to indicate that men who entered such buses that were reserved for women, could get locked up or have the crap beaten out of them by scary-looking Taliban men sporting horrid beards.

This madness goes WAAAAAY back in the regions of Nigeria where western education is forbidden.

So what about the Christians in yobe ? When we tell this people that there is a serious discrimination and genocide against Christians using sharia , Muslims will come out and say sharia doesn’t apply to them
Re: Yobe Hisbah Bans Men-women Interaction, Private Conversations In Vehicles by ARISHEM: 11:26am On Jan 01

Tinubu is a very weak and terrible mandate snatcher. Nigerians must do away with a disaster and a failure of immense proportion if the country ever want to live free in their own country

Tinubu is not the person to ever be allowed to snatch, grab and run away in 2027 if the country want to experience freedom and happiness
Hope they are aware at home? Cis I'm still trying to figure out what Tinubu has to do with this post.

What exactly is wrong with these people up Northern Nigeria......

If truly we need to get along with the trend of life, Nigeria needs to break.

This is just beyond my reasoning and imagination....

And the FG is expecting our graduate children to go and serve the Country in these regions...

Nawaoooooooooooooo
What kind of coward assertion is this, that Nigeria should break up because of the activities of some illiterate Islamic fundamentals?
Re: Yobe Hisbah Bans Men-women Interaction, Private Conversations In Vehicles by wirinet(m): 11:28am On Jan 01
The Commission also cautioned against “ private conversations under the pretext of chatting between men and women, especially in ways that Sharia does not approve.”
Is this order or law not against Section 40 Chapter IV of the Nigerian constitution?

Section 40 (Chapter IV):
"Every person shall be entitled to assemble freely and associate with other persons, and in particular he may form or belong to any political party, trade union or any other association for the protection of his interests".

We really need to revisit the basis of the federation. We need to determine if we want to live together under one constitution, or devide into seperate countries under seperate constitutions. We can't continue to live as a country under 2 seperate constitutions.

In fairness to Paragon, he seems to be expressing a concern that NYSC corps people posted to Nigeria's illiterate zones might not be able to assimilate all the ridiculous religious edicts in force there, and could wind up getting their head cut off by enraged bearded goons with chit for brains.

This is not about illiterate Islamic fundamentalists, its about a part of the federation choosing to live outside our shared constitution, its similar to declaring secession from the federation, its no different from the east declaring Biafra.
