Some people have complained about Tolu personality online lol
Me I just dey talk Super Eagles football fact
Maybe I’d have to check past AFCON qualifiers to see Onuachus stats because I’ve forgotten to be honest
I could be wrong about Onuachu not delivering in the qualifiers & tournaments when we needed him though
No need to check, Tolu impacted in that position when Boniface and Dessers failed to impress

Nigerian coach said he is now having headache after the Uganda game . He said headache is caused by selection challenge .What is the best line up ? For me
Adams Osihmen. Lookman
Ndidi Onyeka Iwobi
Bruno Bassey Ogbu Osayi
What headache is the coach talking about when he has stumbled into a very good selection? The possible change with the squad that defeated Uganda should be Iwobi for number 19

Since Onyedika scored 2 goals in that friendly Uganda game you will drop him
I think maybe the goals would make coach not to bench him lol

I think coach would start Ajayi against Mozambique but use Ogbu in the QF

Nwabali still understandably feeling the loss of his parents.

These players are at the end of the day still human and deserve grace and empathy.

Remember posting a comment that Stanley was a ticking time bomb which on reflection was harsh.

Yes it's fair to criticize players but insults or abuse shouldn't follow.

As much as I would like to start Chukwueze, this formation wont be bad at all
Nigerians are funny indeed. How could a thinking person decide not to play the only playmaker in the team? Yet you want a squad which has rendered Nigeria style of play very uninteresting. The squad which defeated Uganda reminded many people of Nigerian style of play and even commentors referenced to it.

You and Odunayaw, it's like una dey think say na everytime opposition defence go leave you to venture inside their box. There some days you'll be wishing there was someone who was confident enough to take shots from outside, as the defence is impenetrable. From one of those shots, goals might come in, or corner kicks.

But you addded Morocco who last wom AFCON 40 years ago and has been to less WC than Tunisia. Im African Football Tunisia is more of a power house than Morocco and Senegal.

The real Power House in African football are Cameroon, Egypt, Nigeria, Ghana Tunisia and Algeria
Remove Ghana. They won 4 Afcon when the tournament was hosting 8 teams. In fact I'm thinking of petitioning CAF to withdraw two of their titles.

I don’t see Morocco winning this AFCON because they failed their 1st test
They couldn’t beat Mali despite the home advantage
Oh well, group stage affairs may not matter in the KO rounds

If they somehow get into the finals, it will be difficult for them to lose
You would see the most bias officiating ever done by a referee in Africa

And I doubt if that can happen in the EUROs
England lost at home
We need to do better
But in the womens game Nigeria won WAFCON fairly even though a CAF rep got fired for it

Tolu has scored 2 important goals for Nigeria
Especially when we needed it
You cannot bring on Onuachu when we desperately need a goal & expect him to deliver
Thé goals against Russia away & Rwanda at home were vital
I didn’t see Onuachus work in the EPL
Arokodare has caused serious problems for teams like Arsenal
Onuachu missed one decent clear cut chance in the 1st half against Uganda
When has Onuachu scored or come through when we desperately need a goal for Nigeria
Its the same Boniface argument
Looks like Arokodare has too many haters on this thread, I just speak fact
I don’t even know any of these guys
Arokodare has seemed more lethal for Nigeria than Onuachu
They may have better club achievements but Nigeria is a different ball game
Which club achievement does Sunday Mba have to Obi Mikel, but in that tournament Mba played better than Mikel in the KO rounds
Even
if you don’t like Tolu’s personality, this is just the fact
Id rank him ahead of Boniface & Onuachu when it comes to making things happen when we desperately need it
Uganda was a friendly match lol
We already qualified
I hope Onuachu can get more goals in the KO rounds now that we need him & other strikers
Remove this line, it just spoilt the whole argument.

You see, Morocco has invested so much in hosting CAF events recently, and you get the feeling that CAF won't mind rewarding them with an AFCON trophy if they can..
That's why it will be difficult to lose if they find themselves in the final, except the opposing team scores clear goals that cannot be cancelled, like outside shots or maybe own goals sef

Those peeps who always ranked Tolu Arokodare ahead of Paul Onuachu. How fa , how market?

Even when Tolu himself acknowledged that Onuachu was a big shoe to fill in Belgium. Paul at 31 looks slim and fit. Tolu , Dolphin estate boy, butty boy. And he carries himself like mummy's boy.

Paul is a real fighter oo, the team is not playing his style and pattern but he has adjusted. Dare I say , he is a worthy backup to Osimhen
Was Tolu that bad in the game against Congo? I didn't watch the second half. Cos from what I read online, he was horrible chesting ball down for the Congolese to clear.

🚨 AFCON explained in club terms — if you’ve never really watched the tournament. 👀

African nations compared to European clubs… and suddenly everything makes sense 😅⚽

🇲🇦 Morocco = Arsenal
No matter their level or form, we all know how the story usually ends.

🇨🇩 DR Congo = England
A team full of hope every single year. They always say, “This is our year”… but it never happens.

🇬🇭 Ghana = AC Milan
A huge name with great history and trophies, but they failed to qualify this time.

🇧🇫 Burkina Faso = Tottenham
No matter how well they play, don’t worry — they’ll lose a match they were never supposed to lose.

🇩🇿 Algeria = Borussia Dortmund
They win a title once in a while. Champions in 2019 — don’t expect another one anytime soon.

🇨🇲 Cameroon = Chelsea
Just when you expect them to win a trophy, they always pull off something unpredictable.

🇳🇬 Nigeria = Real Madrid
Plenty of stars, not always the most beautiful football, but they always find a way to win.

🇨🇮 Ivory Coast = Atlético Madrid
They’re always around, and you never know when they’ll win — but when it happens, it’s a real shock.

🇸🇳 Senegal = Manchester City
A strong team without much history. First title in 2022, followed by plenty of disappointments.

🇿🇦 South Africa = Marseille
One trophy won a very long time ago. Since then, they’ve been living in nostalgia.

🇿🇲 Zambia = Leicester City
The ultimate underdog. They won AFCON mainly with local players — and no one knows if it will ever happen again.

🇪🇬 Egypt = Barcelona
They once dominated African football with trophies and beautiful play, but today they struggle to win.

🇬🇦 Gabon = Galatasaray
They attend every AFCON for purely touristic reasons.

🇲🇱 Mali = AS Roma
They love participating in AFCON, fully aware they’re not going to win it.

We need an additional striker like that Cameroon's kofane. Before Osimhen go fit score that kind goal, he go tear ACL.
Victor Osimhen rarely shoots those type of shots because they are not high percentage looks. He always tries to play the game the right way. If he decided to shoot on sight he will easily score that type of goal.
