How many of those who attend your night vigils do you know of that can, in fact, help you in any way or form?

2024 took my parents and also changed my perspectives. I stopped attending since then.

The question (the thesis) is leading and of course misleading. Poorly constructed to get a premeditated answers. Cross over night in itself cannot help anyone but faith in God do. So reframe the question to know how much people's faith in God have helped them. People express their faith differently. Not all that pray, fast and worship (cross over) that got answers but those that do so by faith
He that comes to God must believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those that diligently seek him. For without faith it is impossible to please God

Haven't been to crossover service for the past 5 years.

Started due to distance, then I gradually discovered it's got nothing on me or my family.

We do ours at home and God has been faithful.

There's nothing special about going into a church for that. In fact, many churches do it because they just have to do something to "help your faith" not because it's a spiritual requirement!

I didn't attend the crossover Mass because today is a Solemnity and i have to attend Mass, slept properly yesterday and attend Church this morning.

Dear Nigerians, upon all the cross over services you went to all your life, how did it ever improve your life or destiny. As for me, it was always a waste of my time. I'm am successful today and that is as a result of God's help and not sabotaging my self with self inflicted injuries like bad choices in life and people. I went to numerous cross overs but it never improved my life in any form. I should've spent my time sipping wine at home. For the past 4 years, I havent gone to any crossover service and my life has been blissful.

If you had done whatever it is you are doing now when you were attending cross over night your life would still have been blissful. You can't be going to cross over night and be making wrong choices in life and still believe that things will be better. It is common sense.

It's social connection

I spend time at home reflecting on the past year and strategising about the new one.

Ages since I went to a crossover service, will not ever do so again as what I do now works very well for me.
