real madrid for where. Real madrid has way more wins than losses in final. Real madrid always unfailingly qualifies to the UCL every season no matter the form they are in. We have already missed 2 consecutive afcons and 2 consecutive world cup in the last 15 years. We also posses more silver medal and bronze than Gold. Please find another club to use as comparison
Athletic Madrid. Nearly every time.

Omo, I thought Ijaball was assisting in some capacity, hopefully Chelle has needed assistance to help move this team forward in the competition.

I personally think Arsenal is a better fit. We don't always win titles, but we're consistently in the top 3 or 5. Can't remember when last Arsenal fell below 5th in the EPL.

i think liverpool is the right fit. Legendary team but has gone through turmoil in the last 20 years. Gone to europa final and lost, lost 2 finals to real madrid and also play second fiddle to man city in the epl for most season. So close everytime. Just like us. The perfect "almost" team.

Since the Egypt friendly, I've been calling for Onuachu to start alongside Osimhen in attack instead of Akor.

Onuachu brings superb holdup play and ball distribution and being a big target man, draws defenders to himself thereby taking pressure off Osimhen.

His aerial threat also means defenders can't concentrate only on Osimhen during corners/ indirect free kicks.

I hope Chelle will listen to me now.
Person say Tolu Arokodare and Onuachu na the same thing 😂

Turkey style of football dey make strikers smarter and faster. Onuachu game change as he go back Trabzonspor, when he was in the Premier League, he no look assured for national team like this. Person wey dey spank ball across pitch now 😂, he even played 20 minutes as a CB for Trabzonspor some matches back and had the statistics of a proper CB as well 😂

Him and Osimhen may work better than Osimhen and Akor. The way he drops to the midfield and spread passes reminds me of Bayern's Harry Kane playing style.

I wonder oooo

Till date African footballing power house remains

Egypt
Cameroon
Ghana
Morocco
Tunisia
Nigeria
Senegal
CIV
Algeria

Then
SA and Zambia have good pedigree in African footie but have never been power house
Tunisia, club football-wise yes, but national team football - No, even Senegal needs to win a second Afcon to be considered a powerhouse abeg, Morocco surely becomes a powerhouse after the last World Cup heroics, so they are in order

We need an additional striker like that Cameroon's kofane. Before Osimhen go fit score that kind goal, he go tear ACL.

Sofascore have changed Wrexham’s Arthur Okonkwo nationality from England to Nigeria
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 11:48pm On Jan 01
Kenneth Omeruo was 19 yrs at Afcon 2013 when he made his major tournament debut and shone like a million stars.

Ogenyi Onazi was 20 at same Afcon 2013.

Benjamin Frederick at 20 was already bound to start at Afcon 2025 but for injury.

Will Nigeria give a 19y/o such a chance you asked?? Something that has happened and is still bound to happen.

Tunisia has an Afcon ooo. 2004 as hosts. And club football like you said, they have really deep sound pedigree. Also been to 6 WCs. 2026 will be their 7th. Also first African side to win a WC match (1978). They are no small fry.

Cameroun has been to more (cool. Nigeria, Morocco and Tunisia tied on 6 but now we will be overtaken by both North Africans at the 2026 WC.

Was Tolu that bad in the game against Congo? I didn't watch the second half. Cos from what I read online, he was horrible chesting ball down for the Congolese to clear.
Kinda dispensable

Ahmed Musa too was an ayunger. Daniel Amokachi started at 17 ir 18 if I am not mistaken. Oliseh was U20 when he earned his first cap.
Henry Nwosu and Keshi were teenagers when they earned their first caps.
