Only for propaganda reasons would anyone be identifying a village by religion. Even in the east where there is arguably a predominantly christian majority demography, their villages are never identified by religion. No village has an official religion of its own to then be identified by that religion. Most have multiple indigenous gods, which exists alongside Christianity. While some leaders may be christians personally, their personal spirituality does not overshadow that of the community such that they can now claim this village is a 'christian' village.

2. World War 2: 85 million killed in just 6 years, including the senseless firebombing of civilians in Dresden and the over 200,000 civilians deliberately killed by the US atomic bombs over Japan. This war too was caused by Christian European nations.

Over one hundred million people killed in just 2 wars, using conventional weapons, chemical weapons, biological weapons, and atomic weapons, in a total of 10 years.

One hundred million killed in 10 years.

Forget other global strife caused by the US and its allies, such as the Korean Wars, Vietnam, Falklands, Iraq, Somalia, Palestine, etc. There's still a war in Europe raging since 2023 with millions of lives lost and upended daily.

Hundreds of millions killed because of geopolitical hegemony, but somehow 0.003% are the problem.
