Even if dump forces down the Fed Rate (by firing Powell and installing his stoogee), it will not lower interest rates on bonds that finance interest rates on US debt, and will in fact raise bond rates.

Thinking otherwise is like saying you can dictate to a lender the rate of interest at which you borrow.
