There's no way in hell Mozambique is stopping us sha. I don't care what they did in the group stages. We've arguably looked better than both Cameroon and Ivory Coast in different moments and those teams still squeezed a result out of Mozambique. I can almost bet my life on it that we will breeze through that fixture.

It's from the quarter finals that we should start getting worried to me. Both Algeria and DR Congo are stronger than all the opponents we've faced so far, Tunisia arguably included. We can exit from there if we're not careful.
I had to confirm twice say na you dey talk with so much optimism...glad you have changed your stance.

Then you don't know Chelle. He always tweak his formations to remain mysterious.

Why does a coach making the CAF best XI, give you "same vibes as second round exit"??👀
When it's literally two different coaches in this scenario?
You dey eye Eric Chelle job Sha so I understand Sha🌝
Be careful with this your last line else you'd be involved serious litigation with my client.

It is important to score goals and win a match in football competition. However, the pattern of play lingers in memory. There was nothing to remember about Nigeria/Tunisia match besides Nigeria won. In fact, if the stoppage time was extended beyond noted, Tunisia would have equalized or even won the match. This scenario would have wiped the memory of the match from the mind of many Nigerians.
Your comment is full of would have, would have.

The match is won already. It's the team that loses that takes refuge in what would have been. The victorious team glories in what is.

Nigeria would have defeated Congo if Chukwueze and Ndidi had not bumped into each other.

It's not easy walahi. The way we come hard on these play yers, we forget that they are human like us. We selfishly focus only on the football, not the players.

Everton have an interest in Blackburn Right Back, Ryan Alebiosu. Wolfsburg, Genoa and Sassuolo also hold an interest in the 24 year old Nigerian. Alebiosu however is currently away at AFCON

That boy is good. If he can improve on his defensive abilities, he will go far.

100% agreed. Wish him nothing but the best. If he were my brother, I would advise him to get the surgeries required for this season and work on strong mental and physical recovery. Insha Allah, he shall bounce back.

This Chrlle's Eagles will sabotage themselves and will not get to the Semi-Finals

Mark my words

I know a team that won't make it far when I see one

Offense wins games but defense wins championships
CIV kept 2 clean sheets at AFCON23
Nigeria kept 4 clean sheets at AFCON23

We know who won the title.

I simply want a focused SE for 90 mins in all matches

Victor Osimhen speaks on Raphael Onyedika

"Onyedika has been one of our best players and most of the time, he doesn’t get the hype he deserves," said Osimhen.

"He is really a talented player. For the kind of performance he put in against Uganda, I think he deserves to be in the spotlight.

"It’s not about me, its not about the Super Eagles, its all about him because he has done so well and he deserves to be in the spotlight."

Semid4lyfe, I was scrolling through Nairaland front page and I discovered this poll...
I didn't know that Nairaland now create polls..
Also, is of only the moderators that can create it?
I'm asking in respect to the Nairaland Nigeria Football Fans Award...
When the time comes, the poll would be very useful...

PS: My intuition tells me to wait until the end of the AFCON before proceeding with selection of committee members, hence the delay.

I have this odd feeling that NG super eagles will win this AFCON.
Ekong will miss out on having AFCON gold medal in his cabinet.

Ekong's retirement on the eve of Afcon was ill timed. He should have waited until after Afcon before retiring.

When we win, i hope the organization around the team fanfare is way way creative, modern and eye-catching. The 2013 set wore one funny looking green plus they didn't have choreography amongst themselves and all. Scattered all over the pitch. Let's prove the Naija style with aura abeg. Till then sha. Cos group stage no be KO.
