Really?!!

Amad is average?!! Lookmam average?!! Diaz average?!!

Just admit that you don't watch football on a regular... We will understand.

No need embarrassing yourself here. tongue
Firstly I am 50 and have been following football for over 40 years, Amad, Diaz and Lookman has never in their entire career had a 15 goal league season, so what makes them world class player ?

Lookman failed at Everton and was sent on loan to Leipzig, Fulham and Leicester City were he also failed before moving to Atalanta where he has had just one decent season, so what makes him a world class player ?

What do you mean small buttox dey shake

Nigeria and Algeria are the only team that won all their 3 group games and Nigeria scores 8 in the process.
So based on performance sure...

Na why I say small buttox. Nothing spectacular about his tactics or his being a fantastic coach. So all is well that ends well.

Thanks!

Sir, with all due respect, if we go by that, then there are no more world class players in the top leagues... Especially of African descent.

Using goal tally alone oversimplifies and even rubbishes what modern football is all about today.

Amad doesn't play as a point man... He practically does the dirty work in order for point men to score, and he does it excellently.

Lookman has since moved on from the silliness of the EPL, and his exploits in Italy are pristine and laudable... He is pure class and quality today, and can't return to EPL for anything less than 60 Million.

He is the hardest working player in that team. Even if you feel he isn't the best. Please respect osimeh.

He work rate is massive and he is the best player on that team!

It's good that lookman is finding his form after quite a long time. He is indeed a very good player.

It was evident he wasn't happy with his former coach and his limited playing time and he allowed it affect his game.

Forward players are judged by goals and assists because football is a game of numbers, being a world class player takes consistency and longevity. Amad has played 80 games for Man United with just 16 goals and 15 assists, that's less than the 58 GA Mo Salah had last season alone.

Lookman has been in Italy for the last four years and has made the Serie A team of the season just once. Having one good season doesn't make you a world class player, he is not a world class player and has never been.

Baggio had 78 goals in 141 games for Juventus, 22 goals in 30 games that's 100 goals in 171 games for both clubs, Drogba for Instance scored just 104 goals in 250 league games for Chelsea in 9 years.

There is a reason Ponytail is regarded as one of the finest players to play the game.

Lothar was a midfield player there wasn't judged solely by goals, forward players has always been judged by goals.

Stat can be deceptive. Drogba isn't a penalty taker for Chelsea and was not first choice especially when Scolari was in charge

Suarez scored 31 goals without penalties, Salah scored 33 goals without a single penalty and yeah he was the main striker under Scolari, the only time he didn't play regularly was under Benitez with Torres available.

He is correcting you but you are still arguing, Rigobert not Rigobet.

He played for Liverpool, West Ham, Koln in Germany and Lens in France, one of the finest and most reliable defenders to ever come out of Africa.
If he was that good he would know Osimeh is World Class. Even Gary Lineker Eat his words. Any one who underates Osimhen is either Jealous or does not watch football.

Even Napoli were jealous of him. They can't believe an African is beyond World Class. Even me an Osimhen fan cannot believe it but I was a very wonderful footballer in my youth so there is no Jealousy,

Actually if I had sat Cristiano Ronaldo down a decade ago he would have won the World Cup Twice with ease by now.

Osimhen is good but not as much as we all rate him to be, he has had just one great season in Europe top five leagues despite playing for Wolfsburg, Lille and Napoli.
He has had just one 20+ league goal season in Europe top five leagues and that was the season Napoli won the league, he was average in the other two seasons with Napoli and didn't even made the league's team of the season.

"I didn’t leave Chelsea because of sabotage from the players, but it is true that it was difficult to control the dressing room. Drogba believed he was the star in the squad and I did have conflicts with him. He wanted to go to a hospital in Paris because of an injury, but I said no.

“That was my first problem because Anelka did well in his absence and scored many goals. When Drogba came back, he wanted to go straight back into the team but I said no.”

Stop giving excuses, Drogba played 250 Premier League matches, and Scolari was at Chelsea for just 8 months. Drogba was there for 9 years, he was scoring 8,6,5,5 and 4 league goals in different seasons, even Defoe never ended a league season with 6 league goals.

Salah who is not even a CF scored 193 Premier League goals in 8 years while Drogba could only managed 104 goals in 9 years despite having the most expensive midfield in the league.

Stephen keshi

Samuel Kuffour are all better than him.
Captaining the indomitables was a great achievement to Song tho.

Let's not argue, Rigobet Song was an elite defender out of Africa. Few African defenders can match his level till date. He was one of the players that made Cameroon a dreaded name in Nigeria back then. He was almost on the level of Eto and better than Salah, but less celebrated because he was a defender and also their era.

I disagree with his opinion on Lookman and Osimhen though
