The Calabar Carnival held on the 30th of December 2025 was a sight. Different cultural and symbolic groups attended the event. However, what set tongues wagging was when a Biafran group, complete with a make shift Biafran armoured Tank, and Biafran Soldiers,marched through the Carnival. Biafra would have been a better country than Nigeria and the British knew it. So they worked hard to stop it because the Africans mjust never be allowed to make progress. Imagine that 55 years after, Nigeria is yet to accomplish any of the feats of Biafra. What's astounding is that Biafra accomplished all that in less than 3 years of existence. The British are truly evil to Africa. Biafra would have been a safe haven for West African Christians the way Israel is for Jews in the Middle-East. Igbophobia:I see where you're coming from, but i think the primary motive that drove the wicked British gov't of the time was that of economic self-interest....the the fact that they had transferred control of Nigeria over to the Fulani hegemony to hold in trust for them, and were then obliged to support and advice them againts the Biafrans/Igbo! It was the support the British gave the Gowon led Nigerian gov't that was the primary determinant in them 'winning' the war! The UK gov'ts desire to see their most viable economic asset in Africa survive intact as they left it in 1960 can also be seen and understood when you consider that the war began only 7 years after they left Nigeria, so the same gov't hawks, colonial rascists and business buccaneers that would have been involved in colonial affairs pre 1960 would have still been in and around gov't at Whitehall and Downing Street as at the time the war began and lasted!
