When we win, i hope the organization around the team fanfare is way way creative, modern and eye-catching. The 2013 set wore one funny looking green plus they didn't have choreography amongst themselves and all. Scattered all over the pitch. Let's prove the Naija style with aura abeg. Till then sha. Cos group stage no be KO.
Talking about branding, Osimhen needs to find a signature goal celebration. A celebration you see and immediately think of Osimhen. Think Ronaldo and his siuuuu. Martins and his summersaults.

Look at Ndidi's celebration. That's a clip that would be replayed for decades to come and has already made it's way into the books of naija football folklore — that's the power of branding.

Mention "Rashidi Yekini", and I bet the first image that comes to your head is Yekini clutching the net, celebrating his iconic World Cup goal. Branding.

Osimhen's current celebration which typically involves pointing at his teammates (or sometimes, the opponents' coach😁) or just jumping and punching the air, isn't remarkable at all. I no go lie, e dey vex me sometimes 🙄.

I mean, it's nice you scored, but how about hitting a unique celebration that thrills the fans and further builds your cult of personality?

We can use these details to our advantage. Eric Chelle pls take note
This settles it that Chelle is an attacking coach. I really hope the man stays post AFCON

you hit the nail on the head. Even Ighalo had his own style. Ahmed Musa, Aiyegbeni, VicMo. Though he got a mask, he needs to work on that no doubt. The team also need come up with dances after a goal is scored. Tshabalala in 2010. Gyan as well.

Morocco loves to foul. Will be key to make them commit in their final 3rd the most. Means Chuks is needed in that game. Chelle might tweàk to halt predictability. But seeing our pathway, he can hit them at their fragility

His signature celebration is removing his mask!

Not cinematic enough. You barely even notice him doing that in the midst of his chaotic celebrations. The cameras don't pay special attention to it either.

Maybe if he took it off in a unique ceremonious way, it would bang. Something like The Undertaker taking off his hat when he enters the ring.....you get the point.

One reason why the Tshabalala goal has stuck so well in people's memories and become so iconic is the choreographed celebration that followed it.

These little things are what give life to tournaments.

Na why I like AFCON be this, with these 3 wins, by my calculations we are currently ranked 32nd in the world and 4th in Africa, from 38th 😁📈

If we reach semi-final at least, we are looking at grabbing 28th or 26th position in the world and 3rd in Africa 🌍 and if we win the cup, we might be seeing top 20 in the world 😁 or very close 🤏🏾

Afcon is finally back today. I want all the knockout matches to end in penalties. Drama and dread of penalty kicks is a thrill ! I don’t want super eagles to enter extra time. Nigeria to dispatch off Mozambique in regulation time. Senegal and mali to win today. Tunisia will crumble watch out

I swear. Like the gun celebration that Mali did when they scored against Morocco, or the one Zimbabwe did against South Africa. Something unique and memorable.

We need to pray he at least makes the finals because the NFF in all their incompetence and incorrigibility are too thick to note all these progressive milestones. They will sack him regardless if he doesn't get to the finals.

He wanted first choice ke? He has some gall, making demands when him mind no strong. Somebody that abandoned his First Choice jersey because of small social media drags that time? If he had not opted out of the last AFCON on top mental health, we wouldn’t be dealing with Nwabali today.

Anyway, he should just be posting TikTok thirst traps dey go, as Anthony Joshua gave him visibility. All the best to him at his club. They should have tried to use him for WCQ small before this AFCON. Chelle no even say make he scout Goalies for us, just carry Uzoho that is barely a professional footballer, and that other guy who’s more famous for looking like Onana, than any actual goalkeeping talent, to serious tournament.

Times like this, I miss Rohr
Post like this is why we have missed you on this platform grin grin grin

Osihmen doesn't even need much effort to get a unique celebration he can just point to the mask or make a hand gesture of a mask 🎭

Moreover talking about branding osihmens hairstyle and the mask is already his brand and already unique
