Not cinematic enough. You barely even notice him doing that in the midst of his chaotic celebrations. The cameras don't pay special attention to it either.

Maybe if he took it off in a unique ceremonious way, it would bang. Something like The Undertaker taking off his hat when he enters the ring.....you get the point.
But the commentators almost always say the mask is off whenever he scores.

I understand your point but he doesn't care about it, so be it. He's already got a brand. One man cannot have everything.

U get insider about the dr Congo case?

Cos as I Dey like dis if dem give me option for us to lift afcon or win d case and not win afcon …na d latter option I go pick o
The problem is that people don't understand the case
As someone who has studied FIFA rules and Congolese laws, I'm not even concerned about world cup playoffs, congo may face a lengthy ban ( a year or more)
Whetter we lose the intercontinental playoffs or not is another issue.

we dont need to create a new celebration signature….just simple go and watch super eagles of 1994 and Atlanta 96 team and do a recreate😀, like what Ndidi did
1. Amokachi’ dance in 1994 world cup

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6V4c-_cDe5k?si=0Y7kqDt8geN-6BNo

2. Babayaro’s ogogoro intoxication dance atlanta 96

3.Finidi George dog urinating celebration USA 94

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_mwyGKBSwI?si=lHnqdScCQ5aEdWsW

-Kanu kpekpeye wing flip celebration at atlanta 96

-or even JayJay okocha’s one leg catapult dance at bolton wanderes

Nothingham forest knew ola aina would be back sooner than later, but still prevented him from coming to AFCON
His name coming out in the preliminary list but not making the final squad asserts this,

Also him playing with their junior team few weeks before AFCON further backs this theory🌝
He would have been managed same way hakimi is being managed by Morocco and is probably going to start for them in the knockout phase now😑

this is good news for Mr Lulu , his absence wasnt felt much ... but in the qualifier we missed him , that attacking bite would have made the difference against DR Congo

I'm telling you. Like what Morocco did with Hakimi: keep him around till the knockout stage where he'll likely be fit.

I was shocked to see Hakimi play.

If our NFF perceived value of Aina to our squad was high they should have gone all out to give guarantees to Nottingham to ensure he is at this AFCON.

One reason why the Tshabalala goal has stuck so well in people's memories and become so iconic is the choreographed celebration that followed it.

These little things are what give life to tournaments.
But don't forget that some iconic celebrations are iconic because they happened once - Rashidi holding the net, Finidi's dog piss, Amokachi's makossa dance etc

Afcon is finally back today. I want all the knockout matches to end in penalties. Drama and dread of penalty kicks is a thrill ! I don’t want super eagles to enter extra time. Nigeria to dispatch off Mozambique in regulation time. Senegal and mali to win today. Tunisia will crumble watch out
One never truly wins through penalties. It's always luck unlike when a team is beaten fair and square in regulation time or extra time

Part of me actually thinks it may be the other way round. From my viewing experience, I don't think there's any rivalry in Africa as toxic and vitriolic as Egypt vs Algeria. So it will be interesting to see how the Egyptian referee prosecutes this game. If there's bias involved, it could swing either way, not just Algeria alone.
Hahaha hahaha blood is thicker than water. Don't bank on any vaunted rivalry oo. Days before our match against Tunisia, many Moroccans registered their support for us and it was touted that there's strong rivalry between Morocco and Tunisia.

Omo, on match day, inside stadium, they betrayed us and supported Tunisia 😂😂😂.

Go and watch the interview Toks of football fan tribe had with Collin Udoh. It's on YouTube. He mentioned it.

You see that FIFA case ehh 100% Dr congo is out... The problem now he say we fit still lose that intercontinental playoffs 💀
I'd rather play Algeria in quarter finals abeg than Dr congo
For semi final give me south Africa
Then finals Senegal
I think I this part will be more easier to win the AFCON than playing Dr congo in quarters, Morocco in semi's
Congo will meet a different beast when they meet us especially now that Lookman is in form. He got in behind their defense twice that day. Now that he's smoking hot, e no go easy them. It's just our leaky leaky defense is a problem.

Unpopular opinion but Benjamin fredrick is too short to be a world class centre back

His height will prevent him from reaching his full potential in that position

He's better in a full back or defensive midfield position

As a boy, my love for this photo was crazy.

Nna ehn, e better make I no chop food, than make I no watch a super eagles match. I always saw the super eagles as the numero uno of national teams globally. Nothing concern me with club football eventhough I loved Barca because of Guily and then, Dinho.

This picture is my number1 photo for the super eagles.

Na Morocco will wipe Tanzania like a pick pocket caught in Balogun market.

They simply don't have the quality personnel and character to withstand the Moroccans.

Zambia and Comoros that are slightly better body tell it will now be Tanzania that will survive?

You made a nice observation but sometimes, it's not by height. He may alse bulked up in years to come and get himself a right size for a CB.

Late Jota (RIP) and Sterling once beat Mertesacker aerially. Recently, Lisandro Martinez dominated Woltemade aerially in United's match against those agberos from Tyneside.

An excellent observation though.

What if Aina didn't want to go? He got injured and sidelined after the last AFCON and also there is an alleged story that he is miffed at the NFF for abandoning him after his last injury on national duty.
