Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has criticised the President-General of Ohanaeze, John Mbata, for calling him a semi-illiterate.

Speaking in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni (ONELGA) Local Government Area of Rivers on Friday, Wike alleged that Mbata failed to graduate from Rivers State University when he was reading law.

He boasted that he, on the other hand, holds the fourth-highest national award in Nigeria and graduated from the University of Port Harcourt and Rivers State University.

Wike said, “Ordinarily, I won’t have bothered myself but I will say it. Somebody who was a former senator said the FCT Minister is a semi-illiterate but the same person dropped out from Rivers State University when he was reading law, he could not make it.

“I went to University of Port Harcourt, finished, went to the same university he dropped out and went to the law school, today, I’m a life bencher.

“The semi-illiterate has the fourth highest national award in Nigeria".

Mbata is Fubara's puppet, he became Ohanaeze President through Fubara's endorsement. Mbata is a leech, he was crawling in and out of Wike's office, cap in hand when Wike was Governor. Today, he is butt licking Fubara to collect from the 600 billion naira Rivers treasury.

Imagine a barely literate Wike that lacks home training, insulting a man that was a senator of the federal republic when Wike was still managing a motor park as the thug in chief. For the records, it was John Mbata that out of pity, brought Wike to state politics. This happened when Wike used to wash the car of Mbata. Wike is an ingrate and a betrayal of the highest order. Man has bitten all the fingers that fed him. From backstabbing Odili and his wife to betraying GEJ and his wife. When the table turns, he will still give Tinubu his own doze of the medicine. Wike's downfall will be loud.

Ohanaeze is the grand umbrella of Igbo intellect and experience, a gathering of the best Igbo minds available. Yet somehow, by a mysterious academic miracle, it now appears to be steered by someone whose formal education allegedly didn’t survive university. Proof that all those degrees must have stepped out briefly to buy gala and never returned.

And just to keep the pattern consistent, we are told Nnamdi Kanu also dropped out of school, while Pitobi reportedly tiptoed out of university with a philosophy degree that barely escaped with a pass. Nawao.
