I don't blame him, they feel threatened by the strong Yoruba culture which is gradually infiltrating every corner of their land. Some cultures are too sexy to imbibe that you literally dilute them with yours subconsciously.

You can't conquer anyone. It's a free world with people assimilating/borrowing from different cultures. Some term it acculturation. The monarch has made his declaration within his right. It is left to be seen whether it will win over the people in a dynamic world.
