Left Back Prospect, 24y/o Emmanuel Maviram played all 90 for Tondela in their 3-1 win vs Arouca in the Liga Portugal.
He bagged a goal⚽️and provided 2 assists🅰️🅰️

His 12th start in 14 league games.
This is what was said about him by one football com

"Player of the Match: Emmanuel Maviram shaped the game with a free kick equaliser and two assists, adding five successful final third passes to lead the hosts."

Tunisia sacked their coach, same man who qualified them to the world cup with an impeccable record...I guess AFCON is a different type of dish.

I have a friend who would have put off the TV after that Mali PK. According to him, playing a PK off target is so irritating to him. He even prefer that the keeper save it. Me, I agree sha
😃 for me it’s the opposite, I prefer you blast it wide. As big as the post is what do you mean by you gave the keeper a chance to catch the ball

One to keep an eye out for post AFCON. Scored a fantastic freekick and his crosses are very good.

With the shambolic display Senegal put up against the far inferior sudan I'm backing Mali to scale through
TheSuperNerd:
Senegal's attack and overall quality vs Mali's midfield depth quality.

Senegal are sure favorites but Mali can be frustrating to play against. Morocco have tasted the Malian resilience but difference is Senegal matches Mali in raw power and physical aggression. It is gonna be quite a game.

Mali vs CIV Quarters at last Afcon comes to mind but Sainfiet is the coach now, not Eric.

Another LB to keep eyes on is Jayden Ade Trindade Meghoma of Rangers of Scotland.
An ever present for Rangers this season and still 19.

Anglo Nigerian lad. Eligible for England and Nigeria. Played only 2 friendlies for England U20s last year. But featured for England U17s in 2023 at U17 Euros and FIFA U17 WC so would need a switch of allegiance unlike Ryan Alebiosu who had no official caps for England at any level at all.

Tunisia coach Sami Trabelsi is reportedly set to step down as head coach following tonight’s AFCON exit.

Source tells me Trabelsi was shocked by some of his players’ attitudes, particularly after missed penalties in a crucial moment.

Adding to the tension, the coach hasn’t received his salary since taking charge.

A disappointing night for Tunisia and potentially the end of Trabelsi’s second spell with the Carthage Eagles.

keepers often dive to the floor, so just play it above the ground. Right left or down the middle, just hit it hard abc above the ground, because tell me why will Semilogo play that rubbish he played against Congo

By the way, why wasn't Yassin Meriah given his marching orders after getting two yellow cards?

Is that a new rule too?

Could the SA ref had made a mistake? Booked for the handball on 90+2 for Mali's equaliser and booked again on 109 mins.

Or was the 90+2 yellow retracted? I too was wondering what that man was still doing onfield. The rules have certainly not changed.

Mali vs Tunisia always has drama. Always.

In 2021 Afcon, they met and Mali won 1-0 but not without crazy scenes.

Referee Janny Sikazwe ended the game initially on 85mins and the rest of the drama of that day played out, on and off.

Tunisia must curse any circumstance that brings them into Mali's path.
And the referee was not sanctioned?

Tunisia was dreadful last night and I’m glad Mali finally got something over them but the Malians are too rash in their tackles.

Tunisia qualifies for AFCON and WC with solid defensive displays but never actually go far.

Only been to three finals and won one.

Sudan are north Africa
are they in UNAF? the last time i checked UNAF(Union of North African Football) has 6 member nations
Morocco
Tunisia
Egypt
Mauritania
Libya
Algeria
Just like COSAFA,WAFU,CECAFA etc there is also UNAF for north african football union…
i saw many people quoting me on this that sudan is north africa soccer wise…someone said 2 north africans have exited the afcon and i countered saying Sudan is not in the north african soccer region…
make una check again abeg…SUDAN is not a member of UNAF, they are member of CECAFA(South Sudan,Sudan,Uganda,Ethiopia,Eritrea,Tanzania,Burundi,Djibouti,Kenya,Rwanda,Somalia)

Some here still think AFCON is local something.

God forbid I choose but I'd rejoice over AFCON cup than even a QF place in the WC
