Why do I see so many of you in this forum being against North Africa? I am from Algeria, and I love Nigeria and follow all of its matches from 2004 up to the present day. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by mank1234(m): 10:46am On Jan 04 |
Bouadi97:Because of your players and FA's antics. North Africa has had the most penalty in this tournament -most of them purely bias. See the way your players protested calling for VAR to cancel a clear handball yesterday |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Bouadi97: 10:59am On Jan 04 |
This happens in all regions and countries. When a country in the West hosts a tournament, it feels as though the officials are biased in its favor; the same is true in the East and in the South. A clear example is South Africa, which played 7 out of 10 qualification matches at home, and the same applies to Morocco. This shows that corruption exists throughout Africa, not only in the North or the South. |

Lessons from last night AFCON matches It is not the team that score first that wins the match Sudan scored first and lost Tunisia scored first and lost Mail got revenge of 2022 world cup qualification where Tunisia defeated them to qualify . In 2021 ,Mali defeated Tunisia in the quarter finals |

Bouadi97:I followed on Algerian football from late 80s as a small child ,I love Beloumi. The major reason people are against North African teams is because hostile nature . They always intimidate the ref especially when playing at home . In some cases they intimidate the players and fans. Check the history of African champion league matches you will confirm this hostility . Because of this hostile nature some refs usually give dubious penalties. You watched the last women AFCON finals ,where Morocco fans used laser on Nigerian players ,they did same thing in previous edition where Nigerian lost to them through penalties . Can you show me any African country that use laser against opponents ? |

Bouadi97:its not as if you guys are darlings either. The behaviours of fans of north african teams using lasers to distract the opponents is well documented. Add in perceived referee preference in matches and they all add up. The hate while out of bounds at times is not without cause. |

Bouadi97:So, you admitting that there is corruption in favor of the North Africans and the "hate" against North Africans on this forum is justified? |

Lol. I am aware. Fullbacks are not normally tall. Height is a bonus for a fullback. Ryan Alebiosu for instance has the height. Blueelf: |

I didn’t know how to reply to each of you individually, so I hope this can be taken as a general response. I — or rather, all of us — admit that corruption exists within our African continent, and that everyone uses their influence. A clear example of this today is Motsepe and Lekjaa. I also do not deny the negative behavior of some of our fans (in North Africa), but that does not justify all this hatred. I love Nigeria, and I have been with you on this forum since 2018. However, recently I have noticed many people expressing hatred toward North Africa, which is why I decided to respond. My dream is to see Nigeria crowned champions of Africa, to make up for our disappointment of not qualifying for the World Cup. |

Mali has played four matches Mali vs Zambia - 1:1 Mali vs Morocco 1:1 Mali vs Comoros 0:0 Mali vs Tunisia 1:1 .won via penalty They don't score goals but they don't conceed more goals 😆 It appears they have decent defence line and good midfielders. Maybe they will drag Senegal to penalty shoot out .lol 😆 |

Bouadi97:You disappeared from the military thread. Anyway, from my posts from that thread you can tell there's no hatred for north Africa. However in football you're only seeing your reflection in the mirror that is the rest of Africa. |

Great to have you on our forum. The unsportsmanlike behavior of some North African teams and fans makes it very hard to root for them a lot of times. I've personally witnessed this kind of awful treatment shown to Nigerian national teams and club sides. That said we acknowledge and respect your teams like Algeria, Egypt, and Morocco. It's just the gamesmanship that ruins your reputation. Bouadi97: |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 3:54pm On Jan 04 |
Please Obanterla should just stay out of it. Whoever must win between SA and Cameroon should be the team that stops Morocco in the Quarters ABEG! VERY IMPORTANT coz Morocco is highly likely to make it past Tanzania. Meanwhile, My Maroc Boys for the win today vs Tanzania because if not ehn, Rabat go burn and Goke7 and co go laff me dieee for this one and me I no fit escape this one because Maroc "na my powerhouse indeed" (but on a flip note, I go dey happy from a Nigerian angle ooo but the shame of losing to Tanzania go hurt first). Now if Maroc wins as I expect them to, the plan is to knock them out in the Quarters thru SA/Cam because I know in my heart of hearts that should Morocco cross paths with Nigeria in the semis, the ref and CAF will do everything they can to favour Morocco that day unless we frustrate their plans by actually being better no matter what. So Unless Obanterla or whoever favours a Maroc Quarter final destroyer, make im just no put eye. Odunayaw: |

Bossoflife25:Well with 4 year AFCON, makes sense otherwise they would be losing way too many players during AFCON. |
