Spainever:A clear foul … ref just dubiously ignored it and waved play on ! There has been irregularities in the application of VAR in this tournament. |

CAF referees fear North African Teams 😑 Tanzania was robbed of a penalty. |

| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Spainever(m): 7:03pm On Jan 04 |
For any team to beat Morocco you must be at them with clear goals o 😂 expecting ref to give a soft penalty it won't happen. If it was the other way round ,I am sure 😃 the ref will rush to check VAR. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by caprikon: 7:03pm On Jan 04 |
Dodgy decision not to check VAR. Tanzania has exposed this Moroccan team despite losing. Can't see this team defeating Senegal at this AFCON. |

Spainever:VAR staff refused to call his attention to it ! Some sort of collaboration .. |

Spainever:I'd love that too but frankly I don't see South-Africa beating Cameroon 🇨🇲 |

CAF is doing everything possible to compensate Morocco or any of these North African teams. I have lost faith in controversial calls from referees in this tournament. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by semid4lyfe(mod): 7:08pm On Jan 04 |
That was a shove from the back. Clear penalty. VAR should have been checked. Even if a penalty had been awarded and Tanzania had equalized, Morocco would have gone on to win at extra time. I'm embarrassed by the blatant bias and misuse of VAR in this AFCON. VAR wey other continents dey use without issues, e reach Africa, dem con dey abuse am. |

9JAMac10:Morocco too were robbed when Tanzanian keeper clashed onto Moroccan player in the first half. In as much as I wanted Morocco out, I think the ref was fair |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by kennysville(m): 7:09pm On Jan 04 |
If everyone is going to be dishonest with backroom politics and underhanded tactics then who can blame NFF for latching onto DR Congo alleged ineligibility case like a pit bull? This is sad. We need fairness |

South Africa will beat Cameroon. South Africa style will be too difficult for Cameroon to cope with. If Mozambique could play them that way. Forget it. Southy will flog them. kennysville: |

All of you complaining about officiating I have mentioned this earlier that the script has been perfected. Anyone playing Morocco should take their chances and bury it on time even with that expect more theatrics from the hosts and the refs on the pitch. One of the reasons I was so sure Morocco will win despite Tanzanian resilience was because as hosts I also expected the refs to be soft on them there were instances where some Morocco players should have picked the second yellow but the refs waved it off as expected even var Dey don edit am tire 😂 |

lol! The same happen against Osimhen vs Gabon, and no penalty was given. That is not a PK. The keeper has his eyes on the ball in his territory. mank1234: |

It disturbs me that South Africa have an almost perfect record against Cameroon. That being said, people seem to be writing off this Cameroonian team. Bafana might be in for a rude awakening. |

Morocco is not hosting tournaments for entertainment, they want to win trophy 🏆. They lost women AFCON finals in a row now . When last Morocco won AFCON? I expected the ref to check VAR or at what point a ref is expected to check VAR? |
