The quest to dominate by China literally shuttering African industries is my growse..And how they go about it using intellectual property theft. To the extent of affordable consumable products availability we can thank China. I'm sure you'll soon be seeing Chinese air raft and cars in your roads. |

Dr WriteerNg:This one explains better than me on why the takedown of Maduro had to be done. Cynical Publius @CynicalPublius I have been monitoring the Venezuela issue all day long, and there are so many questions yet to be answered (thanks to great Pentagon OPSEC), but the strategic reason for bringing down Maduro has become abundantly clear. While we ostensibly captured Maduro based on legitimate, outstanding US drug charges from 2020, the real reason for the military operations early this morning is that neutralizing Maduro's Venezuela had become a strategic imperative for the USA. Under Maduro, Venezuela had become the Latin American crossroads for all of the USA's principal enemies. Maduro was nurturing relationships with Russia, Hezbollah and Iran. Worst of all, Venezuela was eagerly becoming a part of Red China's Belt & Road initiative. As America's enemies were lining up Venezuela as their base of operations in the Western Hemisphere to cause mischief and destruction for the USA, Maduro was at the same time making Venezuela a crossroads, safe haven and enabler for all manner of narcoterrorist operations, ranging from Colombia's FARC to Mexico's Sinaloa cartel. On top of all that, Venezuela had become a key player in the illegal alien invasion of the USA, shipping its very worst to the USA in a deliberate and comprehensive destabilizing operation that might have worked had Donald Trump not won in 2024. Next in importance: oil. The global and regional ambitions of both China and Russia are in large part dependent on the politics of petroleum, and the USA just deprived both of the cudgel afforded by friendly Venezuelan oil. Trump opponents say "It's about oil" as if that was a bad thing. Yeah, it's about oil. Finally, all of this was in keeping with the most essential and fundamental foreign policy mandate of the USA almost since the nation's inception: the Monroe Doctrine. Operations like what Maduro was running simply cannot be allowed in the Western Hemisphere. Trump was right for falling back on this most basic of doctrines that protects the USA's sovereignty. So was Maduro seized because of some five year-old drug charges? Yes. Legally--yes. However, like so many strategic issues in the world today, an action needed to be backed by the fine points of law, and it was. But the reality is that the Maduro takedown was a Monroe Doctrine-driven necessity that has greatly enhanced the power and national security of the USA. Congratulations, Donald Trump, Marco Rubio, Pete Hegseth and the rest of the Trump national security team: you boldly took the steps necessary to defend the USA. Well done. Your opposition smells like sour grapes. The same people who rightly condemned Maduro's narco-terrorism charges now cry 'extradition is illegal' only because the U.S. might succeed where others failed." |

raumdeuter:Maduro elite bodyguard was made up of Cubans. He had received defence equipment from Russia and China. All destroyed. Including Hugo Chavez mausoleum. They used a cyber attack to turn off the lights in Caracas. Unreported widely is that a close Maduro family member was helping CIA track him 24/7 . He couldn't even use his phone freely, kept changing lines and phones. What kind of life is that ,when you could simply do the right thing and live normally without any fear. |

CNN panel wanted Trump to remove Maduro back then. MAZE @mazemoore During Trump's first term Maduro stayed in power after an illegitimate election. The MSM/Democrats repeatedly claimed that Maduro remaining in power was proof that Trump was "Putin's puppet." Everyone in this video will now be condemning Trump. It's so pathetic.
Democrats are just hypocrites.

Kamala Harris statement about the attack. Kamala Harris @KamalaHarris · 14h Donald Trump’s actions in Venezuela do not make America safer, stronger, or more affordable. That Maduro is a brutal, illegitimate dictator does not change the fact that this action was both unlawful and unwise. We’ve seen this movie before. Wars for regime change or oil that are sold as strength but turn into chaos, and American families pay the price. The American people do not want this, and they are tired of being lied to. This is not about drugs or democracy. It is about oil and Donald Trump’s desire to play the regional strongman. If he cared about either, he wouldn’t pardon a convicted drug trafficker or sideline Venezuela’s legitimate opposition while pursuing deals with Maduro’s cronies. The President is putting troops at risk, spending billions, destabilizing a region, and offering no legal authority, no exit plan, and no benefit at home. America needs leadership whose priorities are lowering costs for working families, enforcing the rule of law, strengthening alliances, and — most importantly — putting the American people first. Hypocrite.

bayelsaowei:Marco Rubio explains why Venezuela opposition may not have the capacity to take over right away. Delcy Rodríguez and the core of the regime’s leadership are negotiating with the United States as we speak. This is not a sudden pivot. It is the result of a conclusion reached in Washington over months: the U.S. does not believe that María Corina Machado and the opposition have the operational capacity to seize power in Venezuela because they do not control, or meaningfully fracture, the military. If they did, power would have shifted immediately after the 2024 presidential election. It did not. For a long period, U.S. officials, including Marco Rubio, were in constant communication with Machado and her team. They were asked repeatedly for proof of a concrete plan, not just to win power symbolically, but to retain it in practice: chain of command, military alignment, institutional control, day-after governance. The answers were consistently evasive, justified by security concerns, but never substantiated. At that point, from the U.S. government’s perspective, the opposition ceased to look like a viable transition mechanism and began to look like a political wager with no enforcement arm. The plan now on the table is for Delcy Rodríguez to stabilize the country with U.S. backing and then call for general elections. This is not framed as an endorsement of the regime, but as a containment and transition strategy. Washington is explicit about one thing: this is not a partnership of equals. The United States is running the process, the lines are being managed through Rubio, and the leverage is entirely asymmetric. Delcy is the instrument, not the center of gravity. U.S. officials also assess that Delcy’s harsh public rhetoric today was aimed inward, at the chavista base, not outward. That messaging is understood as domestic signaling. Nevertheless, as of now, negotiations with the United States are ongoing as we speak This image below that you posted . Literally reading it suggests a different meaning. Y

basilico:Sharap! The West have done infinitely more to underdevelop African industrialisation than any labeling you care mammary now. You will wear garment for the British and Americans who come to establish upstream resource companies, take the resources outside of country and return low-quality refined products to unsuspecting Nigerians. BP, Mobil, Chevron all have capacity to build Oil refineries inside of Nigeria for eons but it's never been western policy to contribute towards industrial development in Nigeria and Africa as a whole. They instead prefer to refine oil in the West, and return high sulphur rate PMS at premium prices. Thank God for Dangote. It's the same with Swizz and Belgian companies that impoverish Cocao farmers, without creating any plans inside of Africa. But you have a problem with the Chinese who actually build infrastructure in Africa. Go and burn down the entire Blue Line in Lagos. |

nateevs:Before I start let me PARTICULARLY condemn the absolute IGNORANCE contained in this mendacious ideological rhetoric - BP, Mobil, Chevron all have capacity to build Oil refineries inside of Nigeria for eons but it's never been western policy to contribute towards industrial development in Nigeria and Africa as a whole. They instead prefer to refine oil in the West, and return high sulphur rate PMS at premium prices. Thank God for Dangote. You do know that the British owned a refinery in Nigeria in the 1960s or so? I think the Port Harcourt Refinery was originally owned by the British Petroleum or Shell but it was SEIZED, STOLEN AND NATIONALIZED by the government of Nigeria under Olusegun Obasanjo or Muratala Mohammed in the 1970's. Your statement is CAPITAL IGNORANCE, I didn't even bother to look up anything before disputing it. I challenge ANYONE to call me a liar. That's a major REASON nobody built a refinery in Nigeria AFTER that....fear of seizure by the government. Heellllooooo, is this too hard to find out, this is something EVERY Nigerian adult should know about. Goooodness, university educated Nigerians, who did this to you all? And then of course the entire impetus for any refinery was KILLED by the imposition of FUEL SUBSIDIES in 1973. Like it or not, go read the news, Dangote maintained and stated and shouted it as far back as 2010 that he would only build his refinery on the understanding that fuel subsidy would be cancelled and prices deregulated. And that is EXACTLY what happened, because he has the political connections or knowledge to predict outcomes... if foreigners are not building now it's because they're still afraid of SEIZURE and also there's better opportunities elsewhere....same reason that my good self is not investing in Nigeria. Just in the last 48 hours some of the major oil companies in the USA have stated they won't want their seized properties back in Venezuela because they have more lucrative deals elsewhere...Guyana for one. Still need more evidence? Go look at why Shell abandoned their planned gas projects in Mozambique and moved the money to Australia or vice versa, it had to do with which government provided a more stable environment and incentives. Oga both China and the West and even India for that matter are taking advantage of a peculiarly foolish Black African addiction to a key principle of socialist economics - GOVERNMENT ENFORCED STRONG & OVERVALUED CURRENCY. Black Africa is underdeveloped because most of the countries have SOCIALIST SYSTEMS, government has overwhelming control of the basic FACTORS OF PRODUCTION. The most damaging government burden on ANY ECONOMY is controlled currencies that are subsidized at ARTIFICIALLY high values. Overvalued currencies KILL productivity and value addition, such currencies PROMOTE consumption. South Africa has a FREE FLOATING, uncontrolled currency, Nigeria has a government controlled currency, Kenya is more productive and exports more value added products than Nigeria because it has a free floating currency, THAT IS THE EXPLANATION and the DIFFERENCE, it's real, anyone can go research this and learn. Then add property rights, demographic homogeneity and democracy and everything is clear. Why is Ghana more stable than Nigeria? It's because 50% of the country is from the same tribe. The evil British organized a Lancaster Conference for Nigeria to negotiate terms of independence and gave ELECTED representatives of the major tribes & regions the responsibility to choose their fate and organize their relationships. Nigeria would be a better country today if the idiotic Zik hadn't blocked the attempts by Awolowo and the Sarduana to break up the country at the 1954 Conference Eastern Nigeria would have become a nation dominated by a tribe that composed 60 to 75% of the population, likewise Western Nigeria would be 100% Yoruba...each country would have LESS PASSIONATE tribal or clan hatred than what plagues Nigeria today. You can lie against the British all you want, THE NIGERIAN PEOPLE chose exactly the kind of country they wanted to live in after 1960. China the new hero of the Afrocentric patriots, well China is 90% mono-tribal, yes demography is indeed destiny. Mono-ethnic China is pushing the EXACT SAME economic mechanism used by European Colonial powers - MERCANTILIST ECONOMICS, a method where the State organizes its citizens to go and EXPLOIT naive or unintelligent or undeveloped populations abroad and make vast profits which LEGALLY then belong to the State. Anyone who takes time to study all the relations between all these nations and Black Africa and the 3rd World in general will recognize it. This is THE SAME WAY Cuba sends its doctors abroad to work and earn forex. Do you know WHY & HOW those doctors are made to return to Cuba? Their families are held hostage. Go search on Google and find out. The Europeans and later Americans did contribute to the development of Black Africa. Right now the long term results are evident in South Africa, where a White Minority have created an environment that made the Negroes of Azania into the 2nd richest group of Negroes on the planet, while Nigeria that REJECTED White European rule became the Poverty Capital of the World in 2018. The Europeans learned from the TRAGEDY of Black African independence, so before giving up power in South Africa in 1990, they INSISTED on property rights and a free floating currency. The Great Traitor Nelson Mandela signed the secret protocols and they were written into the Constitution. How do you explain that Zimbabwe expelled White Farmers and blamed the resulting economic disaster on Western Sanctions, while Nigeria that has not been sanctioned since 1999, became the Poverty Capital of the World? I sincerely crave and beg an explanation for this from the Afrocentric Patriots. If Oyibo sanctions, general malevolence and oppression is the root of Zimbabwe economic underperformance, why is it that Nigeria is the Poverty Capital of the World DESPITE enjoying good relations with the West, vast crude oil and natural gas reserves AND a brilliant, innovative and hard working and thriving population? While we're at it, can someone come and tell us why the colonial, exploitative CFA Franc is more stable than the Nigerian naira? The ONLY SOLUTION to POVERTY anywhere and in any time in history is FREE MARKETS. Governments are the MAJOR OBSTACLE to free markets because the GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS and POLITICIANS use their POWER to steal from the BUSINESSMEN & INNOVATORS who are the actual producers & providers of goods and services. The worst governments are those with SOCIALIST, COMMUNIST & PROGRESSIVE ideologies because they're usually composed of unproductive, jealous, wicked and inert human beings who HATE successful people. Socialism, progressivism, liberalism and such are simply jealousy dressed up as political ideology....that wo/man has more wealth than me so I'm going to take it from them!!! Among all governments, the one in the USA is the best - not because it's run by better human beings, but because its powers to steal are almost PERMANENTLY & EXPLICITLY LIMITED by the basic law called the Constitution of the United States. That document is the ONLY BASIC LAW in the world containing the words "GOVERNMENT SHALL NOT". That's the REAL REASON the USA is the greatest nation in the world, the greatest and best nation in HUMAN HISTORY, it's a fact that's undisputable by the living or the dead, ordained by God and the Devil. This is why a cursory look at migration flows between EU/Europe & the USA will always show MORE people migrating from the so-called paradise of Europe to the extreme hell of the USA. I make that claim without even looking up any immigration stats. Those who don't see the logic of WHY this happens are welcome to dispute it with evidence. And the people that migrate THE MOST from Europe to the USA are the most productive and innovative people, the risk takers and ambitious people. The closest relative of the USA in Europe is the UK, they're Anglo nations. Again, without looking at statistics, I make the claim - net migration to the UK from the European Continental mainland is higher than migration from UK to the European Continental mainland. That may have changed in the LAST YEAR OF 2025 as the Labour government in London has put up increasingly SOCIALIST budgets. Whatever sha...China will save Africa. Indeed. It's so terrible that Nigerians don't understand these simple things. Shhhheeeesh!!! cc Gerrard - Good Luck to Nigerians. |

nateevs:If you think Chinese are developing Africa to transfer technology,I have a bridge to sell you China is hungry for raw material's,They enrolled countries in their BRI to develop infrastructure through which raw material's end up in China. They loan money then have their company build it .They also bring in their own workers to do the important stuff Some countries have failed to repay the loans in time. Sri Lanka lost it's main port, Tajikistan ceeded 1000 sq km of land , China took 90% control of Laos grid. Nations need to be careful with these developments. These projects that China are building are to improve access to it's raw materials. Roads, railways ,ports, airports etc. Tanzania was to get a port but on condition no other port along it's coast would be developed. This Tanzania port would be linked via a new railway to DRC where Chinese companies are mining large scale. Massive project Zambia was at risk of losing its airport too. Anyway I see China as a worse colonizer than the West. It's African leaders who sell out. It's African leaders to blame for underdevelopment largely not the west. They concieve grandiose projects and look for funding. The same playbook , but at least the Chinese don't give Africans money. They build, you pay later. The west used to send money to Africa thinking they are trustworthy to spend the money honestly. The west does try to improve governance in Africa unlike the Chinese. As.regards BP , Chevron and refineries, the other day I mentioned that countries should nationalize oil them hire those hard nosed Western retired Oil execs with clear performance targets. A lot would jump into it. |

nateevs:See who is telling another person to sharap..... ![]() Seriously you need to apologize. Your statement is COMPLETELY FALSE, as in a perfunctory search on any internet engine will show it up. The first refinery in Nigeria was in Port Harcourt and it was BUILT AND OWNED by the British. Nigeria SEIZED, stole and nationalized it in the 1970's. See I didn't and still haven't bothered to do any search and supply any links because I believe you're educated and can do it yourself. ![]() This isn't some small thing, that's why I felt the need to comment here. It's equivalent to saying THE BIGGEST CITY IN NIGERIA IS MOMBASSA or fuel subsidy never existed in Nigeria until President Tinubu abolished fuel subsidy in 2023 This is a big part of Nigerian economic history that you've just rubbished to score Afrocentric points. Na wa o!!!! So what else that you write is anyone supposed to take seriously? Good Luck to Nigerians!!!! |
