Looks like the crowd in the stadium are supporting Cameroon. Abi Morocco prefers to play Cameroon in quarter finals?

The SA ref in the Tunisian game yesterday must have been responsible for the hostile reception to the SA players, just thinking

Hello guys
Guess what
The old Cameroon is back guys
Cameroon will rough handle the hosts Morocco
Dirty football but win with physicality, counter attacks, overhead balls & setpieces
I knew this when they played Ivory Coast but wasn't too sure of it

Philosopher1979:
If peseiro had not left after the nations cup we would have qualified. His leaving at the wrong time created crisis and we could not get a replacement on time. Finidi was too inexperienced and could not command the respect of the players. Also the decline of omeruo and eking and I think injury to ajayi. We refused to call new players to beef up our defence. Al. That. Chelle is now creating some stability. That's all.
This is why I'm a fan of the 4 year Afcon because I believe it will give stability to a lot of African teams since the FA seems to sack coaches after every Afcon then having a 4 year gap would give the coach enough time to build the team to his best and justify any sacking after spending 4 years building the team

Chelle should be given such a timeline as well as the NFF should sit up and I believe Nigeria football would be rejuvenated to the peak it was in the 90s

Tell yourself what you want bros
But the only reason we're having a 4 year gap now, is to please Europe
Nothing more, nothing less

True though
Referee bias but I think Cameroon will still win
Physicality & Mentality
Those Camerounians are like South South & South East Nigerians, similar genetics
Loads of plantain, bole eating people lol
I just pray we sort our defense issues & play like a team
Mbeumo is selfless today

Yes but their physicality may be their undoing
I just pray that score clean and clear goals while holding their own against the Moroccans and the ref's antics
Because they'll be playing against Morocco, the ref and CAF

Afcon bullies don dey enter quarterfinals ooo😅😅…allowing teams like Cameroon,Egypt,CIV to near quarterfinals wahala don dey oo…i trust my super eagles sha…we have to show no mercy to Mozambique tomorrow sha…play them like tiffs oo
Should Nigeria make it out against Mozambique....then quarterfinals is their likely bus stop....they can't match Algeria or drc in 90minutes and concede goals unlike the last Afcon

What Nigeria lacks is a comeback spirit....where you're two goals down against an under dog similar to Gabon v civ or France v Argentina but you believe that till the last minute, the game ain't over....that's the spirit that wins you tournaments

The super eagles have so far scored first in all of their Afcon fixtures in 2025....what would happen when drc or Algeria scores two first??

Can they comeback?

Flashscore and too much faith in South Africa, which next match? 😂

Their flight to Johannesburg has been booked before the referee booked them 😂

I think our team play is improving
We just need to learn to stay switched on for 90 minutes, especially our defense

i expect them to buffer up their squad with the much despised foreign boys before the world cup. The world has gone past all these ibile pride. Even drc came to afcon with no players playing in the local league even tho someone wanted to use drc local league players to taunt us here.

Those guys are always trying to mask their inability to export quality players to Europe with their "we have the best league in Africa" nonsense..
Most of their players aren't good enough to cut it in Europe top clubs....

Ironically, if you ask them to mention their all time greatest players, it will include players that plied their trade in Europe.. McCarthy, Mark Fish, Redebe, Mokoena...
But SA used to have players playing in Europe. But not anymore.

They didn't...we scored first in all those matches irc so no

For you to find a match where Nigeria came from a goal or two down and won the game eventually..you'd have to go back nearly 6 or 7 years in time

That's footy for you! However, Cameroon doesn't deserve those goals, on the other hand Cameroon should have been 4 nil up if they had taken their chances.
I am happy one of CAF boys is out. lol!

Hugo Broos said he wasn't feeling the AFCON vibe and Moroccans did not take kindly to that. It was the same indiscretion Alex Iwobi showed by making that video he made during the playoffs.

Arabs hate it when one makes them look like bad hosts.
