You get time dey answer silly account.
Why should a team go down by 2 nil before they react.

We scored immediately Tanzania equalized.
yinkeys:
They showed it against South Africa, Gabon & Tanzania
Yes they can

Should Nigeria make it out against Mozambique....then quarterfinals is their likely bus stop....they can't match Algeria or drc in 90minutes and concede goals unlike the last Afcon

What Nigeria lacks is a comeback spirit....where you're two goals down against an under dog similar to Gabon v civ or France v Argentina but you believe that till the last minute, the game ain't over....that's the spirit that wins you tournaments

The super eagles have so far scored first in all of their Afcon fixtures in 2025....what would happen when drc or Algeria scores two first??

Can they comeback?
This comeback spirit is key. We lack it, and it was very evident in the last afcon, and the world cup qualifiers.
The team should develop that fighting spirit and strong mentality, then it will reflect in our playing style.

Hugo Broos said he wasn't feeling the AFCON vibe and Moroccans did not take kindly to that. It was the same indiscretion Alex Iwobi showed by making that video he made during the playoffs.

Arabs hate it when one makes them look like bad hosts.
Ok. But Cameroon would definitely be a much tougher opposition for Morocco than S/Africa.

Hugo Bross will rant tire ...a very poor team .Cameroun caged them . it s not good to dance around aimlessly

What will happen if Nigeria score DRC or Algeria 2 goals first, can they fight back?
Tunisia almost did recently.... Tanzania too then there's civ in the final of the last Afcon or SA,Jamaica,Trinidad and Tobago,Gabon, Zimbabwe etc

Algeria and Drc definitely have the attacking capabilities, mentality and strength to fight back from 2 goals down especially against Nigeria defense

A team that scores first should be showing come back spirit?

lol I prefer Nigeria scoring and beating team
Early, nobody needs any stressful comebacks.

Why do you need to comeback when you are dominating game and take your chances? This SE na Barcelona philosophy dem get..Outscore your opponents.

They have started dreaming on how they will equalise with the way Mali did ... they dont deserve to be in the quarter final

Abi should caf make the afcon the route to FIFA world cups like cadet championships?

Like make 8 come from Afcon and the other 2 should find another route. Cos this SA undecided undecided

Cameroon plays unpleasant football
It's not beautiful to watch
Just like how they won in 2017
The 2 goals they scored against SA just shows their mentality
I regret watching this game though
Not entertaining
Just rugged football

The DRC will knock out Algeria or take them to penalties
I don't see Algeria win in 90 minutes
Tunisia gone, Algeria next

Egypt & Morocco will be knocked out in the QF
Eric Chelle should please lock that defense

Against Mozambique he'd use Ajayi & bassey but against DRC he better use the younger defenders Igor Ogbu & Bassey

They didn't...we scored first in all those matches irc so no

For you to find a match where Nigeria came from a goal or two down and won the game eventually..you'd have to go back nearly 6 or 7 years in time
why should Nigeria come from 2 goals down. Why should we allow our opponents score 2 goals before we start fighting back when we can score first 😳😳

We know. But will that always be the case?
What if we face other top teams and they start leading us? Especially in the closing minutes of the game.

We've seen this scenario many times in some of our past games, where the game would be a goalless draw until the 60-70th minute, the opposition will score us and that's the end for us.

Kudos to the Cameroonian team especially the coach who was appointed few weeks to the tournament and he assembled mostly new team. Senegal vs Mali , Morocco vs Cameroon

Not at all. No connection whatsoever. It's Hugo Broos' comment that ticked off the Moroccans.
It was SA that sent Morocco home in the last AFCON

Sunday Oliseh when running live commentary: “ like I said before”. “This is what I was saying”. “This is what I said before”. “This is what we were talking about”. Why does Oliseh always want to prove himself right??

Since they have the attacking ability to fight back, they should wait for us to score two. The fight back makes the game more interesting.

This type of display does not deserve to go beyond QF but Morocco must be dumped out of the competition.
