Since there have been so much complaints about Nwabali and several People also felt he should be benched. Do you agree Uzoho should be in goal tomorrow ?

Hello guys
Guess what
The old Cameroon is back guys
Cameroon will rough handle the hosts Morocco
Dirty football but win with physicality, overhead balls & setpieces
I knew this when they played Ivory Coast but wasn't too sure of it
I said this same thing when I watched the game against ivory coast. You could see the identity of the Cameroon I watched in 2000 and 2002 in the spine of this Cameroon side.

Morocco will win Cameroon. I don't understand the confidence people have in this Cameroonian team.
Most of the comments on Morocco is based on sentiment and wishes.

Morocco’s sharpness in front still leaves some unanswered questions but their defense has really been excellent.

And they have a coach that does not hesitate to lock up the back any time he feels threatened during the match. That man can draw midfielders back even against a minnow.

Cameroon took their chances and SA did not...the better team won tonight but the quarterfinals is looking really scary now

Morocco, Senegal, mali and Cameroon are through....I expect civ, drc, Egypt and Nigeria to join them too

Mali has played the worst Haram football I have seen in a long time (two out of their three goals have been penalty ) similar to SE last Afcon outing where they win or draw 1-0 or 1-1 but I have to give it to their defense,it's been solid and they could definitely drag ot out with Senegal to penalties and then it's anyone game

Morocco has shown that theres level to this shit because I remember being scared of them in 2024 or so when they were scoring a minimum of 4 goals per match but it was against continental minnows....they struggled against mali to get a draw and mali imo is the weakest side among the quarterfinals entries so far so Cameroon would likepy win that match with a 1 nil gd

Nigeria path to finals is tough but they can do this with the right mentality and if they take their chances, Osimhen especially! Lookman and chukwueze would also have to keep their form so far.

Good luck to SE tomorrow and good night to everyone
Make una no underrate Algeria oo…those ones are world material nation o😀😀

Moroccan fans booed South African players in the stadium and were rooting for Cameroon. That's what you get when you're xenophobic and strut around like you're the best when realistically you haven't achieved a quarter of what others have. With this performance, they'll be lucky to win a single game this summer at the World Cup. Las las fake life no good. cheesy grin

We're meeting Cameroon in the semi final.

Funny how I'm rooting for them to beat SA and Morocco now but will turn on them when they face Nigeria in the semis (hopefully).

This Cameroon will not beat Morocco.
I initially thought they would but going by the way South Africa played them before that fortunate goal, I don't see them beating Morocco.
Cameroon defense makes a lot of mistake which Morocco will punish. Also Cameroon doesn't have a good goalkeeper.
I am not underrating Mozambique. The Mozambique team has one of the worst defense in this competition, and were fortunate to play in a group with average strikers.
M7even:
You really underate Mozambique.
South Africa from get go was not in this tournament. The struggled throughout group stage. It was obvious they weren't gonna beat Cameroon.

Secondly the game between Cameroon and Ivory Coast was a hell of a match. You could see grit and hard play. That match was good enough to tell any neutral that Cameroon was not a side to joke with.

Mozambique side played the powerhouses and lost narrowly, then they beat Gabon who made the world cup playoffs and lost to Nigeria over 120 minutes. Mozambique play a compact style and they fight till end. Nigeria will scale through , but it will be a tough and even contest. Should Chelle succeed in making it another easy victory, then we are good enough to meet Cameroon at the semifinals. Because Cameroon will beat Morocco.

If it came down to this choice, I'll pick Nwabali. The fact that Uzoho has no business being in this tournament is enough reason to never look his way. Like what metric was used to suddenly make him given this spot on a platinum platter? Abeg abeg.

If we conceed first , we are likely to draw or lose
Zimbabwe vs Nigeria in away 1:1 , we equalize
Lesotho vs Nigeria Uyo 1:1 we equalize
South Africa vs Nigeria home and away .
We lost the world cup ticket the moment we played draw twice against Zimbabwe and Lesotho..SA will go world cup to entertain but may not win a game
Exactly

Tournament football is a paradox. The joy you experience from winning, will become pain the day you lose.

Just imagine your team trailing by 1/2 goals at 80 minutes in the knockouts. The pressure will be intense.

We never win R/16 & you are already talking of winning the Final.

Do you realise that if you check the Online Forums for various AFCON countries, some persons would have made exactly this same comment about Morocco, Senegal, Cameroon, Ivory Coast...

Every of these countries equally believe they can win AFCON.
So just relax & take one game at a time. No country is to be underrated.

Tunisia almost did recently.... Tanzania too then there's civ in the final of the last Afcon or SA,Jamaica,Trinidad and Tobago,Gabon, Zimbabwe etc

Algeria and Drc definitely have the attacking capabilities, mentality and strength to fight back from 2 goals down especially against Nigeria defense
Ask yourself why they are going ahead everytime... And those teams chasing them, they prefer to be chasing because of their excellent mentality?

Sincere answer

Those guys are always trying to mask their inability to export quality players to Europe with their "we have the best league in Africa" nonsense..
Most of their players aren't good enough to cut it in Europe top clubs....

Ironically, if you ask them to mention their all time greatest players, it will include players that plied their trade in Europe.. McCarthy, Mark Fish, Redebe, Mokoena...
Their top striker Lyle Foster that plays for Burnley. He is being benched by one unknown young English striker. They are not just good enough.

They didn't...we scored first in all those matches irc so no

For you to find a match where Nigeria came from a goal or two down and won the game eventually..you'd have to go back nearly 6 or 7 years in time
So Nigeria should allow the opponents to score them 2 goals, then they come back to win to prove to you that they have comeback spirit abi?

It's ugly to watch but they're clinical upfront
Nigeria v Cameroon Semifinals go hard o
They're even playing 5 at the back sometimes

I'm praying for Ivory Coast v Nigeria final lol but it's gonna be hard
Even Mozambique will cause problems although I think we win by 2 goals to 1
We have tactical weaknesses defensively
Then we face DRC which would be our second test in this tourney after Tunisia

Morocco didn't pass the first test against Mali
I doubt theyd brush off Cameroon
Mali showed more mental toughness in that game
And we all know Cameroon is battle tested and has more of that
This Cameroon side who aren't a strong generation compared to their ex players came back from a one nil deficit against a very tough Ivorian side to equalize. Cameroon isn't even playing pretty football
I was stunned how they equalized
They are very clinical & don't waste too many chances
Very sharp in counter attacks too
Good luck to anyone who puts money on Morocco
I think they will struggle with Cameroons physicality unless a red card changes the game
You will see Morocco mentally crumble in the late stages of the game
In FIFA world cup 2022 they sat back, playing counter attack football compared this tourney where they have to play possession football which I believe could sometimes be more difficult
I just fear Nigerias defense isn't armored properly with titan like shield for this tournament
