I can't take anyone seriously who downplays the value of Osimhen to the team in order to criticize (which is fine btw) the outburst today.

Y'all are as emotional as the emotional person you're correcting.

I no see wetin happen sha, my network seized for over 10 minutes, I didn't even see Akor's goal.

But with all I've read here, Osimhen may have acted rashly, but it's not for the wrong reason. It's not like in this same match we have not seen them attempt to shoot when he's very open to score and he didn't say anything, right from the first half. He as a top 9 is our most unselfish player who plays for the team always, is it so hard for the other players to just reciprocate?

I really don't like the way he handled it, but sometimes emotions can take over anybody, and I mean anybody, so stop judging and do the calms, they'll sort out whatever it is in the dressing room.

And as for minefelix saying he "refused" to come out for second half against DR Congo in the WCQ, please die that agenda. It's very false.
Anyways i will die the agenda sha…Osimhen is a player i always hail to highest heaven….but you see that DRC match, kudos should be given to chelle for not allowing media to know what really happend…las las na injury dem say e get….anyways na wetin dem tell us we go believe sha…but we saw some fracas in the close of that first half and next thing we no see Osimhen come out in second half…for some times we he didn’t come out with team mates to the bench…na later towards the die mins of extra time he was now spotted on the bench…wetin he dey do inside dressing room wen evryone don come out for second half

This is the Eagles' best performance I have seen in years, but No everyone dey para with Osihmen, Nigerians looking for unnecessary perfection every time. We didn't concede, no defensive mistake, Nwabali was calm but nobody see that one.

4-0 nil scoreline and the player we Dey vex with got a brace 😂 Nigerians na wa
Na Mozambique we play oo. Not Algeria or Cameroun.

Now you all understand why the top 5 European leagues don’t want to sign Osimhen. There are better ways to address things....he's so unprofessional. Imagine leaving without celebrating with other teammates. The two goals he scored, I guess the assist came from heaven...dirty and disgusting attitude
Lol
Oya Dem no sign am
And so?
Are you currently in the top 5 in your field?

Joebie, thanks for bringing this back.

Chelle and I, I feel we are communicating mentally now. grin

TheSuperNerd:
Chelle's 4-3-1-2 dynamic variant setup is the formation to expect in the KOs.

Bruno at LB. Bassey and Ajayi at CB. Osayi/Ryan at RB.

Midfield 3 of Ndidi (Captain), Onyeka and Iwobi.

Lookman in the hole but close to the front 2 of Osimhen and Akor.

It would be hard to fit Onyedika into this setup from the start unless you want us to sacrifice Onyeka because Ndidi and Iwobi are sure starters and are also on fire at this Afcon.

Moses Simon is not even a starter anymore so Kennysville, your kind suggestion wont exactly fly.

But actually Osimhen has arrived, let's not forget he literally carried this team when lookman and the rest were all playing rubbish, he could have done better with his temper tonight though but let's not disrespect him and pretend we don't know his quality.
When he was playing Rubish during the last AFCON didnt Lookman carry the team. So because he carried the team when lookman was having club issues, he should start misbehaving like a child?

NFF created this nonsense when they condoned Osimhen's public rant on Finidi, a national team coach and a true Super Eagles legend o!

Osimhen even openly said he doesn't care if he never gets called up again to the SE as a result of insulting Finidi. Imagine person wey for dey Olusosun dey hawk gala if not for NFF wey put am for U-17.

Once you see poor man from poor family with poor education wey mistakenly see small money, you must know.

Like y'all have the drafts and are just praying he should do something wrong. He f***k up, we know, but all these "na why club no wan sign am," "he refused to play 2nd half against DR Congo" na rubbish talk.

He wants the best for the team, but showed it in a wrong way, can you just focus on that and leave takes that make you sound unwise?
This is all about bad pr because if Ndidi lashed out at Lookman the same way suddenly everybody will be understanding

dude nobody said he should be a nice guy. But he should not act like a jackass towards his teammates. ⚽️ is a team game remember that.
Again, stop bandying niceness as the reason why Top clubs didn't come for him.

Jackass is a player who doesn't give it all on the field. The aggression has a context and should be rightly curtailed but enough of this exaggerations.

Yes I'm defending Osimhen because Lookman frustrated me too especially in the first half, Osimhen would run his ass off to create spaces and chances but when it comes to Lookmans turn he will try to turn every touch into a shot on goal, Osimhen later lashed out of pent up frustration in the second half but like I said he was justified to air out his grievances, I hope Lookman understands he's not totally innocent in this saga and fix up
I remember you mentioned it in the first half, I even quoted you

Osimhen is the most important player in this team.

He is always unselfish infront of goal. You recall the pass from Osimhen that Onuachu failed to convert b4 scoring via FDB assist.

Lookman should be more of a team player. We are grateful, he has a knack of assisting his team mates.

Akor's is understandable because he is yet to register a goal in this tournament.

This team needs a happy and motivated Osimhen.

They wouldn't have qualified without him.

He deserves some respect from his teammates.

We are yet to play Senegal and DR Congo, which I consider the best teams in the tournament.
A player with 4 assists so far this season should be more of a team player? Please i need some that substance you are taking

Yes. It's Mozambique but na Mozambique wey Cameroun struggle to beat 2-1. Wey CIV manage win 1-0. Mozambique that has a Sporting Lisbon lad in Geny Catamo who shone vs CIV and Cameroun but was rendered useless today.

Mozambique even had 2 shots on target in both games vs CIV and Cam.

But today, they recorded KONDO, ZILCH, ZERO shots on target vs Nigeria.

The Super Eagles just made them absolutely ineffective. It is another statement to be honest but we move. We stay grounded. Algeria or DRC is up ahead.

His head is not correct. So many chances other players have created for him and he missed it,did anyone get in his face?.players can make mistakes and wrong decisions so what's the big deal. So because they didn't pass to you you decide to stop making runs and then ask to be substituted and now also storming off to the dressing room,is that acceptable behavior. He's not the only one that has emotions,he should manage it properly like any right thinking adult.

Taking too many touches
I counted like 3 times Osimhen was open, Lookman didn't do the pass, he was there dressing the ball until he lost it

Akor did one or two like that

I vex
Oga Lookman had three assists today for God sake, abi there is anything hidden we don't know cuz you keep on hammering Lookman holding ball but stats say otherwise..... Osimhen fumbled today with that stupid and senseless behavior, enough of all these over pampering here, all players came to represent Nigeria not Osimhen and his goals chart with eagles showed that his mates were really doing well for him...all Osimhen Afcon goals were assists from Lookman,so what's your point.

Call it what you like
Doesn't change the fact that Lookman got the message and adjusted his game
That's what led to the fourth goal
I am literally correcting a false narrative, you should be matured enough to acknowledge you're wrong.

And oh, same Lookman who "selfishly" provided both of Osimhen's assists and probably leads the tournament in assists suddenly became selfless because Osimhen shouted at him? Well done sir.
