I remember you mentioned it in the first half, I even quoted you
Na so na, even me that's not contributing to the team I was mad at Lookman imagine Osimhen that was sweating for those chances like I said it was who said it rather than what was said.

Did you observe that after Osimhen shouted at Lookman, Lookman began to release the ball quicker?
He stopped all the needless stunts and dribbles
That's all Osimhen was saying..
Pass the ball on time
Una no need all this leg over
Abeg you guys should dump that on the thought. Lookman can be indecisive most time but saying he started releasing the ball quicker because Osimhen shout at him Is fabricated lie. Say Lookman dy fear Osimhen? 🙄
Lookman is Lookman, one minute he's releasing the ball quicker, the next minute he's hugging on to the ball

Can you drop Osimhen to the bench for our next game, as a means of punishing him for today's act?

Of course, you can't.

But Lookman can be dropped for Chukwueze, anytime anyday.

The team always collapses in the absence of Osimhen. We saw this against DR Congo.

We are yet to face a tough side in this tournament, only then will you cherish Osimhen and the X-factor he brings to the team.Case closed.
You no well i swear person that is going for player of the tournament you wan drop, because Osihmen with 2 tap ins refused to behave himself?

The Osimhen petulant behavior didn’t start today. He insulted Ikpeba and Finidi , nothing happened. It’s a matter of time he will physically slap a player on the pitch.
Where was this petulant ,malcontent fellow when he was an upcoming at the U17s?
He needs to be dressed down by all and sundry.
if this happens, some f**king blind follower will see no wrong in it trust me…dey will say he wants the best for his team🤣🤣

Im a lover of Osimhen, but i can never be a blind fan….like the aggravation and team spirit distortion is now smelling aloud…like its really smelling now….oga no dey blame anybody abeg…play with your heart…other too are playing with their heart…correct your teammates with love in public, not aome unnecessary public brawl…if i dey super eagles team and im also a key player in the team, maybe i be bassey or Iwobi, oga if Osimhen talk to me anyhow, i go reply am back oo…oya make we see how the thing go end naaa….abeg make una rest and call this guy to order biko

The North Africans and Europeans that watched it are all calling it out. But na here we want dey turn blind eye. Smh. We dey downplay such behavior. Imagine if the temperament of those on receiving end was equal. Better appreciate his teammates for being cool headed in such moments. Hmm.
His worshippers are always fond of misinterpreting his behavior as "passion". They make it look like that's the blueprint to success, as if there haven't been greater players who achieved remarkable success without having a bad attitude.

I know passion when I see it, but I also know a rude, condescending behaviour when I see one.

Did you watch Mozambique play Cameroon and Ivory Coast? Go and watch the highlights and come back to this conversation
Remind the clown that the defending champions huffed and puffed before managing to score a lone goal against this same Mozambique, or how Cameroon managed a 2-1 win against their team B. Typical of Nigerians to try downplay every impressive win, as if no be a whole Morocco wey manage beat Tanzania 1-0, or how Egypt had to rely on extra-time to beat Benin republic.

This is the Eagles' best performance I have seen in years, but No everyone dey para with Osihmen, Nigerians looking for unnecessary perfection every time. We didn't concede, no defensive mistake, Nwabali was calm but nobody see that one.

Expressing frustration at a play isn't unusual, every player does it. The difference however is that Osimhen takes it up a notch and gets in his teammates face, and that is totally unacceptable. If there are reservations, you sort it out in the dressing room and should it be necessary, speak directly to the player involved. What you don't do is throw a tantrum every time a play doesn't go your way.

You'll also notice that no one seems to be able to calm him down, not even the team captain. Again z players get angry, but the importance of team structure is that when the captain asks that you tone done you do so. This is the second time Ndidi has asked him to relax and he literally just shoved him to the side.

I like Osimhen but this isn't acceptable and it's detrimental to team spirit.
Acting this way in the full glare of the world is a big shame.

yes indeed I am. Believe that. Let’s focus on the team. No ad hominem attacks here you understand
But you attacked Osimhen's person
Why not just deal with the issue today
And concerning your assertion, we have no way to confirm, so we'll let it slide..

Everyone knows why he didn't get a move to the so called top 5 leagues and it was definitely not his attitude..

Yet we never cease to bring up this top 5 leagues issue anytime we're criticizing him

Yes I'm defending Osimhen because Lookman frustrated me too especially in the first half, Osimhen would run his ass off to create spaces and chances but when it comes to Lookmans turn he will try to turn every touch into a shot on goal, Osimhen later lashed out of pent up frustration in the second half but like I said he was justified to air out his grievances, I hope Lookman understands he's not totally innocent in this saga and fix up
I think you Osihmen immature fanboys are just jealous of Lookman. Because he is outperforming Osihmen in 2 consecutive tournaments so far

Another fact that needs correcting:

Chelle didn't just unilaterally decide to sub off Osimhen, Victor asked to be subbed off.

Osimhen is the most important player in this team.

He is always unselfish infront of goal. You recall the pass from Osimhen that Onuachu failed to convert b4 scoring via FDB assist.

Lookman should be more of a team player. We are grateful, he has a knack of assisting his team mates.

Akor's is understandable because he is yet to register a goal in this tournament.

This team needs a happy and motivated Osimhen.

They wouldn't have qualified without him.

He deserves some respect from his teammates.

We are yet to play Senegal and DR Congo, which I consider the best teams in the tournament.
I no see wetin Lookman do bad oo. If Osihmen had played with Jay Jay what would he had done when Jay Jay forgets himself dribbling all over the pitch.

Osimhen being our best player doesn't mean he is immune to criticism. Iwobi that's being excellent in this AFCON was torn mercilessly when we lost to DRC last year. He had absolutely no reason to behave this way to the extent of almost tangling with ndidi and storming to the dressing room. We mustn't defend petulant behaviour

I'll quote as many persons propagate this false narrative.

Again, Lookman had nothing to do with the play Osimhen was angry at, go watch it again. His grouse was with Osayi who decided to shoot instead of passing the ball (and that was the second time he was doing this). His issue with Lookman was because Lookman took exception to him getting in Osayi's face the way he did.

Lookman was many things in today's game, selfish wasn't one of them.
Thank God you observe how they're trying to rope Lookman in as the reason for Osimhen bad behaviour today. 🤦‍♂️

The coach should educate his team on the importance of team spirit. They should be more selfless;pass the ball to a free teammate or one in a better position infront of goal.
Gracias.
None of the players today were selfish. We shouldn't be creating issue out of nowhere. You think if there weren't passing we would have been scoring goals and creating tons of chances?

I wonder. Abeg help me talk to them. Do you know how disgusting your character has to be that your nonsense behavior will overshadow an impressive 4:0 win in an AFCON round of 16 match plus a team mate winning man of the match yet everyone is looking downcast. Oga Lookman had three assists today for God sake, abi there is anything hidden we don't know cuz you keep on hammering Lookman holding ball but stats say otherwise..... Osimhen fumbled today with that stupid and senseless behavior, enough of all these over pampering here, all players came to represent Nigeria not Osimhen and his goals chart with eagles showed that his mates were really doing well for him...all Osimhen Afcon goals were assists from Lookman,so what's your point.
Oga watch match and leave statistics
If Lookman, Akor and Osayi release ball today, we would probably have won 7 or 8:0

Even me wey no play, I was frustrated with the unnecessary ball holding and dressing, talk more of Osimhen who was making the runs and was repeatedly ignored
