Mujtahida:
Beat Congo or Algeria first
That's why everybody needs to put their differences aside and settle for the sterner tests. We shouldn't have bad chemistry at this crucial stage

COOL10:
His worshippers are always fond of misinterpreting his behavior as "passion". They make it look like that's the blueprint to success, as if there haven't been greater players who achieved remarkable success without having a bad attitude.

I know passion when I see it, but I also know a rude, condescending behaviour when I see one.
Be like Gusau don ask to meet am after everyone went to freshen up. That good news. Means they'll iron it out tonight. Gusau will definitely not be alone. Make e show the "passion" to dem ogas at the top nauu. Mtcheww.

What was on display today definitely wasn't pride..
It was passion that went overboard
Hmm passion, imagine strolling on the field and asked to be subbed out, funny waka entered dressing room,

The fan boys that are defending osihmen actions by insinuating people are dunking on him is laughable. This isn't an isolated incident,he has been doing it consistently for a long time now and several times during games. Against Gabon he had the whole pitch to run and score in the dying minute,he missed it,didn't anyone get in his face? They all encouraged him and moved on. If his teammates make mistakes he should talk to them with respect. We are still dealing with Nwabali horrible attitude we can't afford another one. Have two players with terrible attitudes at the same time is a recipe for disaster

I don’t care who is outperforming who, if everybody starts playing for individual records we won't go far
Its Osihmen that plays for personal records if not he shouldn’t be shouting at his teammates to release ball only to him
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Napoleon55(m): 11:09pm On Jan 05
I'm just concerned how they are going to resolve this Osimhen's behavior today, because there are consequences for his actions.
One is that it may cost us this trophy,as he is vital to this team, his absence affects the team in general.
Against Congo Dr,he tried to pick up a fight against Lookman,he was substituted though because of injury, we went on to lose the match.
I pray the coaches and team Psychologist resolve everything amicably with him and the players so that we should have emotionally fit Osimhen for the next matches.

Osimhen should learn to control himself sometimes, going straight to the dressing room without your team mates, you got this one wrong,
Nigeria loves you but remember that Nigeria is funny country, they can decide to turn on you at any time.

I swear. After all, what did he do today that is extraordinary? Two tap-ins and he thinks he's Lewandowski.

Bench that fraud make him head cool. Heaven will not fall. Unless he apologizes to the team and never repeats this again.
Bench who? Even Lookman will knock this off the table.

Everyone should calm down.

Another fact that needs correcting:

Chelle didn't just unilaterally decide to sub off Osimhen, Victor asked to be subbed off.
because he don get injury again abi?🤣🤣….omo Osimhen na real startboy oo…anyways let’s protect him though…but abeg make e no dey shout on fellow AFPOTY, him sef dey play rubbish at times and nobody dey talk anything 🤣🤣…if lookman decide to be bashing him for missing some simple clean scoring opportunities na em b say na we go b d first country wey ref go start dey give us yellow card for in-fights

Oga watch match and leave statistics
If Lookman, Akor and Osayi release ball today, we would probably have won 7 or 8:0

Even me wey no play, I was frustrated with the unnecessary ball holding and dressing, talk more of Osimhen who was making the runs and was repeatedly ignored
It's quite unbelievable that you're excusing Osimhen's behavior.

Osayi crossed at least 2 perfect balls to Osimhen in the first half alone. Go back and watch with calm nerves.

Meanwhile, you mean other players shouldn't take clear shots at goal when in a better position but should instead cross/pass to Osimhen?

Nawa sha.

The coach should educate his team on the importance of team spirit. They should be more selfless;pass the ball to a free teammate or one in a better position infront of goal.
Gracias.
Even Lookman that I have criticized as selfish has been selfless in this tournament being at the heart of almost all our goals. He don try.

Meanwhile, Iwobi's performance so far is proof that when used in the right position, he can deliver...
That two man midfield partnership with Ndidi was limiting his offensive output...

CornOak:
So you actually agreed that Lookman was selfish in this game and only started passing after Osimhen shouted at him?

Incredible.
He’s wasn’t releasing the ball on time but look at how quick and direct he was giving Akor that assist.

Funny enough in the first half Lookman was even releasing the ball on time but in the second half there were two instances where he was slow. Let’s not forget o how Akor was reluctant in celebrating with Lookman after scoring against Tunisia it took Iwobi to jump on him to join in the celebrations.

Both Lookman and Iwobi are our creative players and the team needs them most. Go and watch an interview with Sunday mba with Elegbete he narrated how keshi had to threaten to bench victor moses for uzoenyi because of this issue and he mentioned same thing is happening in this team but he refused to mention which player. Most folks assume he was referring to chuks.

I believe the matter will be resolved tonight as he's been summoned.

I sha no like as e dey do our captain everytime he dey try calm am down. He do always shove him away

"Make nobody tell me anything"

Once again, those defending suddenly think we have been 'hating' since and waiting for this day. That's the error. We are his surest supporters too. E no mean say we go overlook. Mature talk from Lookman at the presser.

It will be addressed and resolved.

We meuve!!!

Omo this talk don dey go far

Yes Osimhen shouldn't have reacted that way
That was uncalled for
But wetin dey bring all these talk of jealousy
Its Jealousy, his childish PlayerFC fan boys want him to be the main man, they cant just stand the fact that Lookman has clearly outperformed him so far just like in the last AFCON. You might not notice it but thats the fact, and that character is what we dont want in the team.

Pride goes before a fall. We have had other players before him oo. We have never seen this kind of agbero behavior from our players
Noooo. This is bad.
I am glad the coach subbed him off after that unprofessional behaviour.

It's funny how Osimhen should go to therapy, Osimhen should do this, while Lookman should continue the same selfish, ball hugging display that may likely cost us next match

Did you observe that after Osimhen shouted at Lookman, Lookman began to release the ball quicker?
He stopped all the needless stunts and dribbles
That's all Osimhen was saying..
Pass the ball on time
Una no need all this leg over
Oga haba haha, abi no be the same Mozambique match

We have 5 days until the quarter finals....that should be enough time for the matter to be resolved amicably...

I trust Chelle to handle it well...

The bias against Lookman sha.

1. It was we hardly score goals (above 2 to be precise) when Lookman plays.
2. Lookman is selfish - But he is leading the assist chart.
3. We can do without Lookman, Chukwueze can easily replace him. Same Samuel that is off and one and has never been a major player for us in any tournament nor a qualifying series.

Lookman is on the same pedigree as Osihmen and deserved that respect too.

Osi is good but what he did today and has been doing in the past is a gutter behaviour

Two truths can coexist
Watch the match again
You'll see I'm not wrong

I'm not even excusing Osimhen's behavior..
I am treating it as a today issue
Most of us are bringing past issues to the matter..

I have already said Osimhen needs to apologize to the whole team and should be benched in our next game

Why did Osihmen lash out to Lookman? Thats very Childish, is he the only person to score? Lookman is clearly performing better than him in this tournament, Let it not be that he is jealous oo. He needs to keep his head down, this his attitude should not be tolerated. Him and Lookman are the same level in football. He needs to manage his ego
Osimhen doesn't have a jealous bone in hm. Man is too aware of his star to feel jealous of another man.
