Same Lookman that have had issues with the previous coaches of Atalanta.

Just try googling Lookman's issue with his past 2 coaches and his reaction to subs and taking of PKs.

He is not as cool-headed as Osimhen oo.

The last time we beat a team 4-0, was against Benin, with Osimhen scoring a hat-trick and Chukwueze assisting 2 of his goals.Frank scored the last.Simon assisted one.Lookman was suspended for that match.

Lookman and Bony partnership failed to click, because of selfish play from both forwards.

Osimhen is indispensable, but Lookman isn't

Pls do not take away any blame from him.
God bless you.

MOTM Lookman speaks on Osimhen after the game

🚨“I have not seen Osimhen but I don’t think that matters, Vic is our number one guy, everybody knows this, he’s a top striker. So, all of that doesn’t matter”

Interestingly, before today, there was a general consensus on this same thread, that Lookman is a selfish player..
I was the one even defending Lookman
But because e reach Osimhen turn today, everybody don get data to cook
Only those who don't know football will tell us Lookman is selfish, Lookman style of play can only be appreciated by real football watchers....haba,a selfish player dey get assist and funny highest assists with three goals so far,Abeg talk another thing Oga Ibrich.

Let me make it clear, Osimhen is our starboy so people must talk about him, it's all over social media not only here
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by BankyGee(m): 11:26pm On Jan 05
I just saw the video, Osimhen was shouting "it's a team game, it's a team game" which is not bad. The only wrong thing is him walking off at full-time or strolling on the pitch as I've seen some people write here.

Again, I feel it was just emotions flaring up due to the good game we were having. Osimhen overreacted and acted weirdly, but spirit like this, channelled properly, is actually what we need to be a fierce team and not a lackadaisical one.

We don't have to be calm at all times, Osimhen was wrong to walk off at full-time, and he needs to channel his passion the right way so it doesn't keep sending the wrong message!

Fire for fire! Raise am, raise am, raise am!

Okay, Lookman is selfish agreed . Does that warrant osimhen’s behavior today ?
Even fans at the stadium that always shout osimhen osimhen booed him when he was subbed off
No it doesn't
That's why I have said Osimhen should apologize and should be benched in our next game..
It will send a clear message that no player is bigger than the team... Even Osimhen

I went cold with shivers as i read what you wrote.
"Those guys were creating goals from next to nothing", was it for me.
I went cold because i did not know that someone can make those kind of assertions.

I said it earlier that Victor Moses basked and benefitted from the services of Mikel Obi and Ogenyi Onazi. He profited from a better midfield, and here you are saying they create goals from nothing, and even included Ighalo of all people.

Ighalo is yet to become the player Osimhen is.
Ejuke and Chukwueze are class above Victor Moses when emphasis is on wing forward play.
We have now a superior attacking caste.

Let us see what a midfield that has Ndidi, Frank, Iwobi and hopefully Raphael Onyedika will bring
I said this some years back.

Good game, Eric Chelle.
Good game, Iwobi (Not all heroes wear capes) cool

As for Osimhen and Lookman. Guys relax. They’ll be fine.

But let’s be honest with ourselves:
Lookman inside the 18-yard box or in shooting positions rarely looks for a striker.
That’s not an insult, it’s a pattern.

Check his assists ....most of them come when he’s not in prime shooting zones. This for those saying he has assists. Hehehe

Now, Osimhen was right and wrong.
Right to be frustrated.
Wrong in how he called it out.
But anyone paying attention knows this frustration didn’t start today... it’s been brewing since the Congo games that cost us the World Cup spot.

Before you come for me, ask yourself this:
If the Super Eagles were goal down, chasing the game, and that same situation happened tonight…

How many of you wouldn’t be calling for Lookman to warm the bench?
Exactly.

Football isn’t emotions only.
It’s moments, decisions, and accountability. This is a wakeup call for super eagles teammates. They will be fine. We are winning the AFCON cool cool.

It's Osimhen's destiny

Osimhen destroys too many of our goal scoring chances because he can never stay onside, and his team mates never complained yet he has the nerves to always shout at his teammates when they make a simple error? I have had enough of his rubbish attitude.

We really need to groom a new quality young striker.
Until you produce somebody better than Osimhen for the S.E. please leave this matter.

I think it is passion for the S.E. that's consuming Osimhen. He is simply ready to give his all for the success of the team, so when he notices anything that won't help it he doesn't know how to "keep it cool". Osimhen really wants the team to succeed, that's why even when he is not scoring he is providing assists and mounting relentless pressure on defenses, which also motivates his teammates.

It is sad that the same people that osimhen is playing with utmost zeal to put a smile on their faces are the ones now slandering him.

Its Jealousy, his childish PlayerFC fan boys want him to be the main man, they cant just stand the fact that Lookman has clearly outperformed him so far just like in the last AFCON. You might not notice it but thats the fact, and that character is what we dont want in the team.
You may have a point 🤔🤔
