lbrichman2:Do you realize we are going to be playing either Algeria or DRC Congo in the next game and you want to bench Osimhen to prove a point? Is proving a point more important than winning game in this crucial stage? |

I've noticed a pattern. When Nwabali starts his madness and ndidi tries to calm the situation,he gets shoved aside and I think that has happened more than once, now today osihmen too has done the same thing. Is it that they don't respect ndidi enough or are those two people just too hot headed. We need a firm captain that can take charge especially with the pitbulls we have |

BankyGee:This is open to misinterpretation.. I have seen several things that can be used as sticks to beat Osimhen But if you're truthful, you will understand this was pure passion that was expressed wrongly |

Diavolo:You see this part, is my issue with him, not the shouting and pointing fingers that others are talking about. After shouting at your teammates for not passing the ball to you, what next? And some are give excuses for that? |

I hope all those journalists whining about being closed out of training can see why Eric Chelle did what he did.

Kog45:I won't call it selfishness, but he does pick certain areas of the pitch to attempt assists from. Whenever Lookman is on the byline, he'd make the cross, but when he's facing the goal, he'd hardly pass, and whenever he does make the pass he's looking for the return 1-2 that gives him a shooting opportunity. To be fair this is how he typically plays his game, and not something he's might be consciously looking to do. It's these "selfish" decisions that he makes when within shooting distance that helps him create goals out of nothing, and it's also what makes him clash with Oshimhen who'd have created space expecting a pass. Both players just have to realize that the teams victory comes before everything else. |

lbrichman2:Passion by strolling in the pitch and by abandoning a match not caring if we lose the match or not? |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by lbrichman2: 11:41pm On Jan 05 |
XrisKelz:I'm not making excuses I'm only being understanding Whether we like it or not, Osimhen has earned our graces.. So he can get away with a few " Bleep ups" if I may use that term.. His actions were not perfect, but I see his intentions clearly.. For that alone, I won't crucify him.. I will deal with the actions but strengthen the person.. Osimhen is integral to this team You can't throw that away because of his actions today |

| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by lbrichman2: 11:48pm On Jan 05 |
Theflint1:Simple! I have addressed this before.. Lookman is a finisher, not a winger.. He is scoring now because he plays behind the strikers and he gets passes in the areas where he can strike at goal.. Lookman does not pass No be today.. The reason he's having assists is because the balls get to him where he cannot strike at goal, so he passes or crosses .. If Lookman gets a pass in front of goal, he won't pass to anybody He'd rather find a way to score That's his game. Simple |
