Pastor Enenche Dismisses Claims Of Using Church Funds To Fund Personal Lifestyle by alphonsoolajide(op): 7:55am On Jan 06
Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr. Paul Enenche, has dismissed claims that he uses church funds to support his personal lifestyle, describing such assumptions as baseless and misleading. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

The cleric addressed the issue during a recent church service, where he spoke extensively on transparency, personal integrity, and spiritual values.

Pastor Enenche stated that from the inception of the ministry till date, he has never had access to the church’s financial accounts, insisting that he does not use offerings or proceeds from church materials for personal expenses.

According to him, income generated from the sale of church resources such as books, CDs, and devotionals has never been used to purchase clothing, accessories, or other personal items.

He maintained that all his personal needs are met through what he described as divine provision, not church finances.

The Dunamis founder emphasized that even materials he personally authors and distributes through the church have not contributed to his lifestyle.

He stressed that church offerings and resources are strictly reserved for ministry work, welfare, and the advancement of the gospel.

Beyond addressing the allegations, Pastor Enenche used the opportunity to admonish believers to stop focusing on material possessions and public opinions, urging them instead to pursue spiritual growth and commitment to God’s work.

He encouraged Christians to live purposeful lives rooted in faith, sacrifice, and dedication to the kingdom of God rather than chasing worldly validation.

Speaking passionately, he said in part:

Many people don’t know our secret. Some people think this suit is church money, this trouser is church money, this watch is church money. That is foolish thinking. Church checkbook has not been in our possession from day one till now. CD sold in this church, I have not used one naira of it to buy a tie. Seed of Destiny devotional, I write it; not one naira of it has been used to buy socks. How much more church offering? God supplies the things we need directly. Let’s stop living for things. Let’s start living for God and for what truly matters.”

The sermon has since gained traction online, with many church members and social media users reacting to his statements.

Abi o. The one he is using to fund his lifestyle drops directly from heaven like manna.

Oga, enjoy your life and don't give us explanations we didn't ask for. Let everyone do as they deem right.

At the end, we will all face our creator individually, not as a group.

Nigerians should allow the pastor to eat the fruit of his labour. Who does church money belong to if not the pastor?

This I have seen.

NO NEED TO EXPLAIN, SIR

Some people are really funny. They can go to a native doctor with goats, yam, and many other items without questioning anything, yet when similar things are brought to the house of God, they begin to ask unnecessary questions. At the native doctor’s place, they don’t ask who will eat the items they brought or how they will be used, but in church they suddenly want to know every detail.

Pastor Paul Eneche and his wife are trained medical doctors. If they were actively practicing medicine today, they would not be poor, yet they left everything to serve in the kingdom of God, and God in turn is blessing them. They are not just pastors; they are involved in many other things. They are authors of numerous books and also music ministers with many songs already available online. I’m sure many people also bless them personally through gifts, so everything they have is not from tithe and offering.

Their blessings are from God in line with Matthew 6:33. You cannot truly serve God and end up in shame. It is not possible. Abraham served God faithfully and was richly blessed, and the same God is still rewarding those who seek Him first today.

It’s good that Pastor Enenche addressed the rumours directly he says he’s never had access to the church’s cheque book and hasn’t used offerings or book/CD proceeds for personal expenses, urging believers to focus on spiritual growth instead of material things.

If we ask him what exact avenues the Divine provision has been using to fund his lifestyle, he will start asking if we are questioning God grin

No wonder him and his wife quit practicing medicine and are now relying on divine provision

They should focus on spiritual growth, while he use latest model of cars and expensive wears.

Real men of God during the time people were still genuinely serving God usually lives modest lifestyle. Majority of them stay in the church or mountain side, they rarely own personal properties, they dedicate all their lives to the service of church and humanity.

Come to today's pastors and GO's, you have to pass through various protocols and departments to see them. They are not available for the poor members, they arrogantly show up in the pulpits only, while left the services of church to others to handle. They chase riches in the name of gospel, and despite sacrifice where it won't bring material possessions.

Only very few pastors should be called men of God in Nigeria, majority are business men.

As far as I know, full time pastors are put on salary even if they own the ministry.

They can't just put their hands into church account as it can lead to pilfering. That's why most churches accounts are run by professional accountants.

Apart from salary, full time pastors receive financial gifts from several people and income from other investments; but it's not always the case.

Any pastor that deeps his hands randomly into church account for personal gain is a thief and robber.

Around 2010 as a banker I decided to write a cheque to Bishop David Oyedepo, my intention was to monitor my cheque when it comes through clearing so that I can have an idea of the bank the Bishop was using.
The amount on the cheque was not big, brethren, till date the cheque was never drawn on my account. Lol
Most people don't know how financially big most of this men of God are. The so called rich people you assume don't pay tithe, do give them crazy cash gifts.

If most of these Pentecostal church pastors are gone, their legacies and records may quickly end with them. This generation is not ready to overlook anything; people question everything and hold leaders accountable. In fact, with the way things are going, religion in general is seriously shaking.
